  1. Congrats, the second time is much easier.

  2. Good For You Davey!! The Instructor Was Glad You Douched Too!!! (I got tears for you!)

  3. I went skydiving before and if you YouTube my name you can find it! It’s Sooo funny

  4. GREAT glad u did it! Did not care for what you said about your mother. Does she know what you said about her?

  5. After Haley Star said she would be jumping out of the plane ,I had this recurring dream….I see a drag queen falling out of the sky, … and then this ad in a Newport R.I. newspaper:

LOST somewhere over Newport. One ladies auburn wig and two sequined, open-toe pumps size 12. If found return to Haley Star in Providence for a BIG reward.

Now that I’ve seen the video, I can put that dream to rest. I might have the courage to jump out of a plane from an upright position. Having to crawl through such a small opening as Davey did is the scary part. What if I tripped and fell the wrong way or the gear got caught on the outside of the plane? OMG!

As it turned out, Davey was the bigger p***y. Which just proves, it takes balls to be a drag queen.

  6. OMG that looks so fun….

  7. Your premise that if you dont do the things that you fear, you arent growing…totally inane and irrelevant. Growth is not dependant on overcoming fear. If you want it to mean that, it is your choice but it is not an intelligent overview of growth.
I went diving once and would never do it again….I did not have someone strapped to my back and it was not a FUN experience.

  8. “Your premise that if you dont do the things that you fear, you arent growing…totally inane…”

I believe that Tom is partially correct, as you don’t want to get into a car accident, but what is missed in that interpretation is that you should read more of it as saying “Don’t be afraid to be successful in what you thought you couldn’t do.”

That’s how I took it. Skydiving is falling from a plane and surviving. That’s a GREAT success, and a learning experience.

Looks good on you Davey Wavey.

  9. That video was so hilarious! I love Haley Star’s reactions. Her voice got a bit deeper for a couple of seconds! XD

  10. Most fear is based upon negative expectation and not knowing–what if. I can see Davey’s mother: what if the parachute doesn’t open, what if Davey falls out of the harness, what if the instructor forgets to pull the cord in time, what if, what if,,,,,,,At some point in our lives most of us have experienced the fear of public speaking: what if I lose my voice, forget what I was going to say or faint? The best way to get over fear is to just do it, providing experience tells us most others can do it without the what if’s coming true. I wouldn’t climb into a cage with a lion to overcome that fear, All life is about the odds. Weighing the odds is one way of separating justifiable fear from imagined fear. Davey knows that he can jump out of an airplane at 10,000 feet without total paralysis, even though he may not choose to do it again. That’s growth.
