Congrats on your new book, dude. Good job.

What kind of academic credentials do you have in the fitness and nutrition industry? Are you a registered Fitness Leader with any particular organization?

Davey Wavey is a graduate of University and he is a business
savvy guy who produces works in conjunction with experts,
men, give Davey some credit please?!
I mean look at his bod, even though Davey comments that he
thinks his chest (boobs) is too big, I’d still give Davey
a tongue bath any day (or everyday?) of the week!
Keep it up Davey! (in every way) Love you, joey
PS: I am certified to say these things, because of the
1st Ammendment to the US Constitution, and I am a 360 pound
teddy bear

Sorry Joey, I think you’re a bit of a goose.
The question had merit because there are plenty of charletans out there with all sorts of diet ideas and nutrition ideas that can actually be harmful.
Saying that it was written with a “”certified” whatever is meaningless – that person needs to have a name and his/her credentials showing.
As simple as that.
And as a side comment- I love Davey but by his own testement, his diet is absolutely shocking!
December 29, 2009 at 12:35 pm
woah! i hope it can reach the third world.
December 29, 2009 at 12:50 pm
congrats, Dave!
December 29, 2009 at 1:44 pm

December 30, 2009 at 7:15 am

a Regestered Dietician and has a
Master’s Degree in Nutrition, besides, Davey Wavey is
a class guy, he would not publish crap. I got his fitness
video series and am working; now I’ll get the nutrition
e-book maybe I can lost the extra 180 pounds I carry
around!
Love you Davey, joey
December 29, 2009 at 4:46 pm
I wish I had money to buy this with.
Oh the woes of being a teenager that can’t yet get a job.
December 29, 2009 at 5:50 pm
Wow i think a couple guys on here need to chill. You dont want his book or video dont buy it…so much negativity…sometimes us gay guys can be such bitches…besides makes you ugly!
December 29, 2009 at 6:15 pm
Not meaning to be negative. If someone is going to build a roof on top of my house I expect to see some credentials. Same with fitness or nutrition, if they are qualified and registered with the appropriate accrediting body then I am happy to purchase their products. I just couldn’t find anything on this website which outlined his qualifications. A reasonable question that all consumers should ask when procuring something.
December 29, 2009 at 6:26 pm
okay lee however Davey did state “I worked with a registered dietitian with his master’s degree in nutrition to put together Eating for Fitness”, and Davey has dozens of pic of him shirtless or underwear. It is easy to tell he works hard to keep fit. Even though the chances of me purchasing his book, is about the same as a purple hoodie (no offense Davey) I see no problem at all him helping others achieve their goals.

Entrepreneurship should be congratulated and encouraged. Unfortunately there are a lot of people out there who share fitness and nutrition information from “personal experiences” and they aren’t really trained professionals. For example, is DW certified with the American Council on Exercise? Who is this person DW has got advice from on nutrition and how do we know its being interpreted correctly through the products on offer? No offense to DW intended and wish him the best of luck in his new venture.
December 29, 2009 at 7:18 pm
OMG!!! who gives a s**t..damn…
December 29, 2009 at 8:05 pm
Lee … to be honest mate … you need to get a f*****g life … i bet you don’t ask to see proof tht some guy in macdonalds has a certificate in catering when he cooks your burger … do you ask to see a certificate of hospitality when you buy a holiday just to make sure its all good … DW shouldn’t have to list all his achievements just incase you have worries he may be a fake!!
GET A LIFE MATE
Love and peace
Jack xx (Certified to post on this blog by the American Council of blog posting … incase your worried im a fake!)

December 30, 2009 at 5:21 am
Davide and Jack….
I don’t doubt one moment that David has done his best with this book adding his own experience and knowledges in sport but I can also understand Lee and what he’s asking is legitimate.
bye,
December 30, 2009 at 7:13 am
eric,
it might be “legitimate” but my goodness. YIKES!!
December 30, 2009 at 7:25 am
I agree with Davide and Jack. If worried about the quality of content, dont make the purchase. Anyways..
December 30, 2009 at 8:43 am
Leon,
Personnaly, I’m sure David is giving very good advice in his book but sometime people need certain guarantees before buying.
I wish to David a lot of success with his book and I hope that lots of people already have bought it!
bye,
December 30, 2009 at 7:18 am
Hello?!
True-er words never spoken, “Caveat Emptor” buyer beware?
If you don’t like the work, don’t buy it, but PALEEZE
don’t fuckin knock on Davey for having the balls to use
his mind to support his dreams and his life, rather than
fingernail breaking, muscle tearing, ball busting work
like I do!
Love you Davey! You go boi!
December 30, 2009 at 8:26 am

Do you want to fight fat and build muscle without exercise? Maybe you should change the title because it’s simply impossible…to build… muscles without exercice!
I’m sorry to hear that from you!
December 30, 2009 at 12:49 am
Dearest Davey Wavey,
I’m 21 years old and I’ve been following your blogs for some time and I find them to be like a breath of fresh air; and sometimes hilarious. I’ve also recently lost 30 pounds. Although I’m back to the weight I was when I was in high school, I’m still hoping to lose more weight and gain more muscle so I can finally reach my overall body goals. I’m looking forward to this ebook and when I get my paycheck (and it hits the bank), I plan on buying it.
thanks for everything
P.S. 1 Samuel 18 — I definitely agree that they were doing it. LOL What else would explain that?
December 30, 2009 at 5:49 am

December 30, 2009 at 9:33 am
u guys r funny
December 31, 2009 at 4:13 pm
Just because Davey has some definition doesn’t make him qualified to teach fitness. Lots of guys have muscles at the gym. I am an amateur bodybuilder, won several shows, and I’ve been lifting for 20 years. I’d never be so arrogant to publish an e-book or his so-called fitness videos. If someone solicits my advice, I’ll be happy to share, but were I ever to advertise as a trainer or nutritionist I’d want some credentials to back it up. I have a hard time thinking some 26 year old is really qualified to teach about fitness in any meaningful way.
January 2, 2010 at 2:33 am
I agree although not sure about the age thing. I wonder why DW hasn’t responded to questions over his qualifications/background? These are reasonable questions to ask and wonder why he is being shy about this? Certainly be interesting to hear about his qualifications and professional bodies he is accredited with.
