Too true!
June 27, 2009 at 12:05 pm
Would you like to change the world by changing this guys thinking> You can change your thinking all you want, it will no more change the world than going on drugs does.
This quote is from a guy on PressTV and Iranian government news site.
****************
It is SIMPLE!. No Suicide Bomber. No Terrorism attacks. Just marry Healthy Westerners and convert them to Islam, have as MANY CHILDREN AS POSSIBLE from them! Zionist jews are already doing this in Palestine! Jewish Rabbis are already encouraging Jewish women to have 12 children each in order to form MAJORITY and populate all Palestine. Europe and America will be Muslim in 30 years if you do this. I have done my part and have already 9 Western Muslim children from a Western woman. Good luck!.
***
Not bad eh…. you just keep dreaming Davey and if this guy succeeds you will be stoned to death. It may be possible you need to think …. and change your thinking!
June 27, 2009 at 1:36 pm
Thinking positively about the world will result in
positive solutions. Engage and work with people who hate or stone first
them before they stone you. Which is better?
June 27, 2009 at 6:04 pm
It sounds very nice but sadly the world does not work that way.
**
I live amongst people who hate in that way and wish to acheive Islamic dominationn worldwide.
**
Yes it is important to give p[eace a chance…
but it is also important not to be what Stalin called “useful idiots”.
He meant people that he despised really but who were useful ful
to help him get his way.
Try visiting PressTV – it is a very clever hate
generator. Do not underestinate them.
It was really interesting when the struggle was taking place….
**
Now those who opposed the regime will have to live in fear.
As well as the ruthless Revolutionary Guard who
drove motor cyc;es into the crowd shot a lot of people
there was its sister organization the Basj.
They attacked people and clubbed them with truncheons.
The protesters have been arrested and that will continue
They will take people at night
It is like Germany in 1935 for them – it is time to leave the country.
**
The Guardian Council hold the real power and do not
have to stand for election. They can veto decisions.
You cannot even stand for election unless they agree.
I suspect there is no equal opportunities problem!
Just don’t bother asking.
*
Their Supreme Leader is not elected and is supposed to be non-partisan.
That myth has been broken.
*
We all need to know “where our bread is buttered”
Try seeing how their web site PressTV behaves.
Try asking a challenging question – politely – and see how quixckly it is removed.
Try seeing the racism that is present.
**
We no longer live in an isolated world.
If bad things are happening elsewhere it puts us in danger too.
Yes we should also care about world poverty and hunger….
but what if the people we help then get indoctrinated
and want to attack us.
**
It will be good if I am proven wrong….
.. Reality does not go away because we
change our approach to it.
June 27, 2009 at 2:17 pm
Perhaps this is just a reading comprehension test.
It reads “Change your thoughts = change your world.”
change your world= change the world?????
I do not think that DW is saying that seeing your world as
a positive place and your own problems as solvable and your
own dreams as attainable is going to prevent suffering in
the Middle East. But having one’s spiritual s**t together
could help, think Mahatama Gandhi, MLK and so on.
June 26, 2009 at 3:21 pm
poetic
June 26, 2009 at 9:27 pm
Hahaha – Poetic?
PATHETIC more like it.
Dude – enough of the philosophy mixed with smut pics. You like to show skin – by all means, just don’t insult us with the “I just happened to be lying in bed with a buldge, THINKING, when u showed up”
June 27, 2009 at 7:05 am
Smut? You need to change your thoughts.
June 27, 2009 at 8:55 am
News Flash!
DW is gay!
and I am, and so are probably most of his readers and Shayne.
I like to think that an important part of my gayness is being able to accept who people want to are and
how they want to show themselves, drag or bare ass chaps or whatever.
DWs shirtless chest, aussiebum underwear, and bulge (he is wearing brown briefs btw)
are as important and in as important as his philosophy. And if that is the hook that makes
any of us more self-accepting, loving or happy it is good thing.
I respect, that Queen Victoria could have her attitudes torward sex and the body,
But do not feel they are relevant or helpful.
June 26, 2009 at 3:22 pm
so true
June 26, 2009 at 3:28 pm
Too true. And just the title made me giggle as it reminded me of a video my coworker and I made when we were testing out my new flip cam last year and this very sentiment came up. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5WtGJk3dSA8
June 26, 2009 at 3:30 pm
is one of your thoughts getting that teeny peeny to rise?
June 26, 2009 at 3:30 pm
love it, thanks for sharing =)
June 26, 2009 at 4:32 pm
I think that I’m dead beacause it looks like heaven! Oh my heart!
June 26, 2009 at 5:27 pm
It appears as if someone is hanging upside down, looking in on you.
You must have strong thoughts.
June 26, 2009 at 7:04 pm
i agree, ive been negative the past few years but recently i have been learnig 2 not stress over unnessessary crap and just LIVE. I want to live not just exist. changing my way of thinking has brought me a long way in my life. its not easy 4 some people 2 change their thoughts and is something that must b worked on constatly speccially if u hav programmed yorself 2 think negative. dont give up.
June 26, 2009 at 7:31 pm
All too true. “Be the change…”, and I’m sure he meant in our own worlds as well.
Ciao!
June 26, 2009 at 7:35 pm
Thanks, it made me reflect on many decisions that I do in my life, and that someway or another, I damaged the inside, I believe that as of today I have a new way of thinking
PS.: This text was translated by Google,
I can not speak english …:(
in Portuguese, my language:
Obrigado, isso me fez refletir sobre muitas decisões que tomei na minha vida, e que de alguma forma ou outra, me prejudicaram por dentro, acredito que apartir de hoje terei uma nova forma de pensar
June 26, 2009 at 7:37 pm
Hey Davey. Are we ever going to see you fully erect? That would be beautiful and I as sure everyone else would agree with me… Write back…
June 26, 2009 at 11:17 pm
Pervert.
June 26, 2009 at 8:14 pm
please pose some nude pics on dudesnude in your profile
June 26, 2009 at 11:18 pm
pervert…
June 27, 2009 at 2:20 pm
I so agree with you. that’s just gross
June 28, 2009 at 1:21 am
I agree also, why do people have to see full nakedness. Dave is doing a great job with the pics. Leaving a little to the immagination, Keep it up Davey
June 26, 2009 at 10:55 pm
OMG! there’s a creepy pedo watching you!! Close your windows! O_O lol^_^
June 27, 2009 at 1:06 am
are you naked here!? I can’t tell, or is that just tan underwear?
June 27, 2009 at 1:58 am
Nice bulge, dont worry about people hating on you. Most of them are not comfortable with their bodies and want others to be as ashamed as them. Odd that someone would not notice the window just your bulge. If they were Davey Wavey they would be naked too, just like Pam Anderson she loves being naked and still has a perfect body at 40. They should work on changing their thoughts. Like you suggest. Luv U, Steve
June 27, 2009 at 3:50 am
*Clears throat* well I never expected your lower genitals. You should get some erect pictures for the gay men out there and not the straight girl like me. It’s sexy, hot and adorable to see you naked and I would do the same thing. LOL all these gay men advertisements and showing everything until their butt naked.
June 27, 2009 at 5:12 am
Mr.Wavey,
Have some respect for yourself and us,
put some clothes on. Your mother must be so
proud? Some of your ideas are fine. But not
all of us want to see your junk. Are we a
gay porn star, trying to break out or our
closet? Just asking?
June 27, 2009 at 8:22 am
“Some of your ideas are fine.”
Only some? and only fine?
You don’t want to see his junk or his body.
What’s left? what brings you back?
June 27, 2009 at 2:23 pm
that’s mean! Don’t talk about his freakin mom!
What his mom thinks of him is personal and none of your business to speculate
(those are fightin words where I come from.lol)
June 28, 2009 at 1:24 am
TG, Just don’t visit the site any more, it’s that simple…
June 28, 2009 at 4:56 am
I like the people who are struggling over there to know that at least some people over here are aware of their situation.
I like the bigots to know that there are people who can challenge their ideas with sensible questions. That there are people who care about what they are doing to their people.
We need to challenge racism.
We need to challenge homophobia.
We need to challenge their behaviour too.
If we never challenge people (in the right way) they will never see outside of their small world.
We may also learn things ourselves.
June 28, 2009 at 3:07 pm
I only think he should put some clothes on cause it would make people really apprecaite it when he’s actaully in his underwear.
June 28, 2009 at 3:45 pm
It is also boring.
Take em off Davey and have done with
it or just stop the dreary tease.
You are fit but not that especially
attractive still less sexy.
June 27, 2009 at 6:43 am
Is Davey wearing a cockring
June 27, 2009 at 7:25 am
Hardly.
Davie is probably wearing a sock.
June 27, 2009 at 8:11 am
i think 2 SOCKS at least!
June 28, 2009 at 4:57 am
who cares.
June 27, 2009 at 7:05 am
Is it bad that all I am staring at is your bulge?…oh and a head by the window =/
June 27, 2009 at 7:36 am
dont worry about the nay sayers! keep doing your thing dude!
June 27, 2009 at 8:40 am
This may or may not be related.
I currently have a crush on this guy, and for some reason, I can’t help but feel that I do not qualify to even write to him on Facebook. I’ve been wanting to ask him out a few times, but I simply don’t have the guts and I just feel that I am not good enough to write to him.
Don’t get me wrong. He is not arrogant at all. In fact, he’s one of the friendliest people around. I just feel inadequate…
I suppose I should change my thoughts and stop thinking this way, but I can’t. Can anyone please explain to me why I’m feeling this way?
June 27, 2009 at 8:41 am
And perhaps someone can also suggest ways for me to reach out to him?
June 27, 2009 at 8:59 am
Don’t think of your self as inadequate, and don’t be afraid of rejection. What is the worst thing that can happen if you ask them out on a date? I think the worst thing that could happen is they could say no. You will never know unless you ask. Only you can take that chance by asking.
I took a chance and found the sweetest man in the world (and hottest)! Trust me I thought he was way out of my league. He is from Norway, speaks fluent Norwegian, he is very attractive, knows how to ski (which is a huge plus for me), and he is going to school to get a PhD in Information Systems/Technology. I haven’t even gone to college. If anyone should have felt inadequate if should have been me, but I took that chance and it was the best thing I have ever done!
Good Luck!
June 27, 2009 at 8:54 am
and me!
June 27, 2009 at 9:43 am
Reminds me a bit of “email wisdom” I received earlier this week, called “The Window Through Which We Look”
A young couple moves into a new neighborhood.
The next morning while they are eating breakfast, the young woman sees her neighbor hanging the wash outside.
“That laundry is not very clean”, she said.
“She doesn’t know how to wash correctly.
Perhaps she needs better laundry soap.”
Her husband looked on, but remained silent.
Every time her neighbor would hang her wash to dry,the young woman would make the same comments.
About one month later, the woman was surprised to see a nice clean wash on the line and said to her husband:
“Look, she has learned how to wash correctly.
I wonder who taught her this.”
The husband said, “I got up early this morning and cleaned our windows.”
And so it is with life. What we see when watching others depends on the purity of the window through which we look.
**************************************
Thanks Davey Wavey for your pensive musings.
June 27, 2009 at 10:19 am
quite right, davey. oh – and btw: nice bulge ;D
June 27, 2009 at 10:35 am
yeah-i can change my mind-but i can see things for what they are-and should be.change comes way too slow.for instance-climate change.here in the States-Congress passes this-only to be deliberated now by Senate-hopefully to pass.this process takes too long-if it passes at all.then the President-signs it into legislation.Gay Rights-whats been accomplished-is an ardous lengthy process.in contrast Canada and European Union have accomplished much-in a shorter length of time.U.S. form of Government moves way too slow.Progressives around the World-quality of life-happiness-can be achieved much faster in a Socialist or Semi-Socialist way.The reality-Corporate Fascism-as is the example in the States-is the downfall of U.S.Roman Empire-Ancient Greece-British Empire-China-and its periods of domination-all of these examples-they rose and fell-its now the turn of U.S.A.-to fall.Thats just the course of human evolution.So-change what you can-in our lifetimes-we dont get a second chance. We can put it off-for a short time.United-We Stand-Divided-We Fall.
June 27, 2009 at 11:47 am
Our thoughts do alter our perception of the world, so in that sense we are co-creators of our world. But changing thoughts is like redecorating the apartment. Sooner or later it needs to be redecorated again. Better to quiet the chatter and have no thoughts at all.
June 27, 2009 at 12:32 pm
Care to change your thoughts an go there on holiday?
***** FROM PRESSTV***
Today Saturday June 26th 2009, is a glorious day for the Islamic Republic of Iran, its supreme leader Ayatolla Khamenei, its president Ahmadeinejad, the glorious revolutionary guard, and its sister organization the Basj. This high point of the Iranian civilization will be remembered for years to come in Iran and beyond in our memories and in our hearts.
***
Take Scotty Dynamo and hold hands in public…
On second thoughts that might not be a good idea. We would actually like to have you come back.(The Basj have been clubbing protestors)
June 27, 2009 at 4:59 pm
Is your world Iran?
Are you saying that one can never think
Positively or be satisfied with your life (not the world)
until
Everyone is happy and safe? There are now
One billion people who are underfed and hungry!!
I wish you a better life than that, altough you seem to
suggest that it would be good for DW and Scotty to
be clubbed for being gay.
Changing
the world starts before the end of your nose
And change can only come from compassion and
joy not sorrow and hatred.
June 27, 2009 at 6:21 pm
We no longer live in an isolated world.
If bad things are happening elsewhere it puts us in danger too.
Yes we should also care about world poverty and hunger….
but what if the people we help then get indoctrinated
and want to attack us.
**
I live in a neighbourhood where there are s
ome very nice honest kind Muslims.
There are also some scary hate generators like these people.
I take a walk at lunchtimes and members of a group
called Al Mahjiroun (not sure of spelling) have atable set out ..
These people want to throw us off cliff tops.
..
Extremists,Bombers and terrorists exist in my area.
That is not an exageration.
**
Lets try for peace – but let’s not delude ourselves.
Let’s be grateful for those who defend us, and yhose
who have given their lives doing so.
That is the thinking that needs to change…
Havong an army etc may not be “pretty” but simply trying to be
nice and offer a hand of friendship does not work with
people who are hooked on hatred.
The Irania Guardian Council need the hatred of the outside
world to distarct people so that there is no internal dissent.
**
To reason with them is only to grant thenm everything
they want – one step at a time.
To them you are an infidel and your oppinions do not matter.
It will be good if I am proven wrong….
.. Reality does not go away because we
change our approach to it.
June 27, 2009 at 8:32 pm
But what about you? What are you doing about your
Fear and hatred? Do you have by your example
or friendship have any influence on your neighbors, especially
the youth who the haters appeal to. Do you have a Muslim friend?
I do not think you or I can solve the problems of Iran,
But our attitude can affect our own lives, and perhaps even have an effect on our
neighbors.
June 28, 2009 at 4:49 am
Yes I do and we argue in a straigtforward way.
He is straight and keeps touching me up at work – in front of the other guys.#I do not react. He tries to catch me by surprise and does sometimes – but I do not freak out. He touches the other guys up too and it annoys them….. but they are a good humoured lot.
Cheers
June 27, 2009 at 3:33 pm
“It is with your thoughts”
And why not with your heart?
June 27, 2009 at 11:27 pm
The “heart” as the emotional entity, is within your thoughts, not your heart.
June 28, 2009 at 3:41 pm
The bullet would not be worried which it hit – either would do. Nor would it worry how you changed your thoughts to adjust to its effect. A bomb could take out your heart mind and pretty well everything else – along with those of your mates.
June 27, 2009 at 6:13 pm
What’s wrong with this picture? Should I adjust the horizontal and/or vertical hold, the colors or just get a new TV? I just need a new antenna perhaps.Maybe I should change the channel or consider turning it off all together. The programing is not so hot these days. Those cheap ass reality shows continue to churn out when were tired of them long ago. Oh. I can save time and money by cleaning my glasses.
June 27, 2009 at 11:26 pm
It is my opinion that, if our physical frames could take the strain, thoughts could not only change perception, but also reality.
June 28, 2009 at 12:21 pm
Reality is the way you see the world through your own perception of it!
bye,
June 28, 2009 at 2:17 pm
Perception will not stop a bullet killing you.
**
It is worse than that.
Try reading George Orewell 1984.
If nothing else read the early and last two chapters.
**
Totalitarian regimes insist you have te perceptions they want.
That is why the regime in Iran are so distressed and violent
to their people at the moment.
They do not want people (including University graduates) to
have any capacity for independent thought.
No reality is reality.
Our response to it (filght/suffer/adapt/change/or fight) is all we can control.
June 28, 2009 at 5:03 pm
I never read Georges Orwell (1984) but I promise you, Cliveey, I will. Reading often your comments, it seems to me that you could be a good advocate of freedom and that’s fine. I recently watched a reportage about the situation in Iran and I agree with you on each point but when I wrote “Reality is the way you see the world through your own perception of it!” It would have been better that I wrote “you need more than to change your thoughts to change the reality”. I mean “mentality”.

June 29, 2009 at 12:57 pm
Its a biy of a sad read in some ways.
But it is strangely prophetic.
In a way it anticipates how knowledge could be manipulated in an Internet age.
A lot of people already try to see that history is understood in the way that suits them.
I must not tell you any more or I will spoil the book.
Animal Farm was written by him.
People usually say it is to prove that Communism cannot work.
What Orewell wanted to show wa sthat Russia after the 1916 revolution was not Communist.
he wanted to show how Communism had been distorted by Stalin.
Animal Farm is more fin than 1984 == but maybe one book is enough.
Have fun.

June 29, 2009 at 6:31 pm
Thank you Cliveey, I’ll read both.
Their reading won’t take “too much” of my sleep time
(I often read in bed) and I hope I won’t have nightmares with these books!

June 28, 2009 at 3:24 pm
I just want to live as much as I can before the free world dies. They won’t have to come to my house I’ll have already silenced myself.
June 28, 2009 at 3:37 pm
Wow that is defeatist. Surely being defeatist is a s bad as War Mongering.
I am a coward but if anyone touches people I care for, my instinct would be to push the button. Thankfully I am not quite as dumb as that… but the starting point is not so bad.
