LOL – see that statement is COMPLETELY different, and I agree with it a lot more. Fear is a survival thing – We are afraid of what we don’t know because it could somehow harm us. I believe that you can be in love and also be afraid. Trust is a large part of love, and if you’re afraid, then I guess you wouldn’t be trusting. BUT what if you’re fearful because you don’t KNOW the situation yet. You’re feelings are just starting, and it is something new – something very very different – that is unknown. Well then it has nothing to do with lack of trust, it has to do with lack of knowledge. That is why I love when you talk about trusting the universe. It’s all you can trust at times. That love of yours isn’t around to trust.
Also – There are anxiety and panic disorders that will create fear in people that really do love someone. It’s just how their brain works.
Thanks Eric for that.

“BUT what if you’re fearful because you don’t KNOW the situation yet. You’re feelings are just starting, and it is something new – something very very different – that is unknown. Well then it has nothing to do with lack of trust, it has to do with lack of knowledge.”
Actually, how is this different from a lack of trust? As in, a trust in the universe that things will be fine? I don’t think it’s “all” you can trust. Well, I guess on the one hand it IS “all”, so that implies you can trust everything! On the other hand, I am a firm believer in trusting others, even (especially?) if they have broken promises in the past, or confused you, or whatever. I trust people have good intentions, or come from honest beliefs and desires, mainly the desire to be happy and feel accepted and loved!
Further, if you only trust “trustworthy” people, that’s not really extending that much trust. Hahahaha anyway, I think trusting in the universe is a pretty good plan, keep at it! <3
If there is fear, there is no love? How is it then that some people have a love for fear – or is this a different love? I think that you can have more than one feeling at a time – I love my friends so much yet I live witht he fear that my secrets may slip out – or does this mean I love them less than what i could. Love is a hard topic to expand on and many people believe in different thing – which we all should respect – being 15 you could say #I have little experience in real love and just a wanna be guru like davey – or you could say that I am entitled to my view, my opinion and my thoughts about the matter. Sory if i have gone on a bit.
Jack, love them regardless. The fear of their gossipping could be rephrased as a fear that your secrets will get out and that others will then judge you by them? Is that fair to say? If you love everyone, then you would love them despire their judgement, despite their gossipping. Because who cares about that stuff — life is awesome!
When you are disconnected from Essence, certain parts of your personality such instincts, emotions etc have to take over the funtions of the gifts that the Essential connection brings. Emotionally Fear/anxiety replaces Trust in Yourself, the Universe, and Essential Guidance. Intellectually fear driven people become hyper analytical, scanning and analysing for threats.
And perfect nipples make my tongue hard. HA! But seriously… It’s great to strive for perfection as long as you accept that there is no such thing and be satisfied and happy getting close to it.
I’ve heard of being a hot licker, but not something I would want to do with a candle. (I hope your trip to Australia is hot – a dry heat – humidity spoils the mood.)
Consider the possibility that fear is a natural, thrown state for humans, while love must be generated, created. For much of human existence fear has kept us from being eaten by big mean animals and ravished by strangers with big clubs. But love is a unique human ability to make a commitment to the happiness, success and well-being of another, of others, of a job, a career, a home, a neighborhood. That love is expressed in action, and is defined by our words, but what we say and then how we honor what we have said. That kind of love is more powerful that feelings, which come and go. And it creates a view of us by others as powerful, as persons of our word who can be counted on no matter what. Just a possibility, but surely a powerful one.
Let me add — fear is not always bad. But when fear arises, we must consider what it is warning us of, evaluate the warning, and take appropriate actions….And/Or….examine what we are really commited to….honoring our fears, or honoring the commitments that are the basis of our love.
According to Nietzche, if we want to live fully we should not have rules.
Well, I don’t belive it works in society’s life, but i belive that it works in love.

that scripture is saying that when we have love theres nothing to fear. when the world can all love oneanother then theres nothing to be afraid of, but theres so much hate in our world that there is no perfect love but that of jesus christ in those whop let him.

Love and fear both are feelings. “Perfect” is a thought. Forget the thought and go with the feeling.
