The invasion of Baja California, (and other invasions conducted by Walker) were done with a private army consisting primarily of an odd conglomeration of European Mercenaries, Thugs and supporters of Slavery in the South.. As a side note those southern Democrats, (the Slavery Enthusiast), later took up arms against America.. And against the First Republican President of America, a guy you may have heard of.. a Mr. Abraham Lincoln. As a Republican, President Lincoln understood that all Freedom begins with Economic Freedom. You own the fruits of your own labor.
