Merry Christmas – and happy holidays!
It’s 6AM on Christmas morning here at my parents’ house in Rhode Island. I tried to record a quick talky blog to share some love, but it was definitely a #TechnologyFail on all fronts. In fact, I nearly knocked down the Christmas tree while jiggling the light sets to find a burnt-out bulb. Oh the joys of Christmas!
Last night, we visited my grandparents and I opened a few gifts. Most notably, a hydroponic garden kit for the hydroponic tomatoes that I started from seed last month.
I also received a surprise gift from YouTube. Half jokingly, I asked my parents for the 27″ Apple cinema display monitor. With a nearly $1,000 price tag – I figured it wasn’t in the cards. And then, just a few days ago – I received a “thank you” note from YouTube for being one of their top 500 partners. The note included a gift certificate in the exact amount of the monitor to the very store that sells them. My parents think it’s a coincidence; I know otherwise. The universe – or perhaps Santa – must have been listening.
On that note, I suppose you and I should exchange gifts. Go ahead and wrap your arms around yourself in a great, big bear hug. Hold yourself really tight for at least five seconds and feel the warmth and love. Let that beautiful smile part across your lips and know that you are so deserving of love and everything this universe has to offer. A hug from me to you, and you to me – it doesn’t get better than that.
I love you – and Merry Christmas.
P.S. Remember: Be love and joy – and you’ll experience it!
