Three rules I live by:
Don’t get offended.
Stop hate.
Love unconditionally.
Thanks Davey!

healing the world is something that is too big to do it by urself…so make friends and be happy would be a good start because if ure happy u will be able to make others happy as well!!!

My short answer to “how do you heal the world” would be :
Put into practice in all countries these 3 words engraved on old french coins that really mean something to me.
“LIBERTE – EGALITE – FRATERNITE”

Eric,
that has been sort of tried somewhere around 1800….it got many people guillotined, and started a world war before the world wars…
The phrase is still on the french Euro though….
Eric (also)

it’s true, it’s on french euro. the french revolution is ended and the guillotine is consigned to oblivion !
We are in 2008 and i still can see that not one of these 3 ideas is respected in any country (even mine)

I am stunned, Davey-Wavey, you have a price, you can be bought? a commercial for a holywood movie, will you share the proceeds with the people you used to justify your commercialism? How much did you make???
wow, I am surprised! and I thought you broke the illusion! it is about the money!

ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS! You have so much to offer. You inspire!
Thank you,

So here’s what I don’t get Davey-Wavey…
On one hand you keep on saying (and I may or may not agree… irrelevant) that there is no such thing as good or bad and that the difficultied and hardships in the universe are all in your head. (Yes – I know you phrase it better. What can I say – I’m a simple man).
Well, if that is the case – doesn’t it render the whole HEALING THE WORLD argument pointless? I mean – why heal something that ain’t broken? Or maybe you should have asked “How to heal OURSELVES?
Like I stated before – I am a big fan of healing the world activities, and making ways to get it to be a better place. I would still argue (again and again and again) that the only way to do it is start by accepting the fact that it is far far far from perfect. And I think that is one bit you really need to work on…
Peace

How do I heal the world?
Hmm.
I don’t know.
But here’s a short list I came up with.
Hope you like it.
1. I listen to music. (jazz, world music, nuevo flamenco, country, pop, classical, etc.)
2. I try to be nicer to everyone around me.
(family members, friends, classmates, professors, neighbors, etc.)
3. Stop watching the news for a couple of days.
(because well.. stuff you on the news sometimes is really upsetting and sad…)
4. I study and learn how to speak foreign languages.
(if we can understand each other inside and out by connection each other, I think this world would be a much nicer place to live.)
5. I eat delicious food and drink coffee, boba, juice, etc.
(when I’m happy, the world seems happy, idk..)
6. I get educated by going to school.
(when people are educated, I think they come more open-minded and accepting… Of course, not everyone but I don’t know..)
7. I volunteer.

That was freakin’ sweet! Awesome montage Davey!!!
Love, love, love…love is all you need…
Thanks so much for putting that together!
Wishing you a beautiful and peaceful weekend,
Ciao – J

Some constructive criticism. The speed was too fast. I don’t know if that was your intent but it was distracting because I kept wanting to read all the quotes. But couldn’t. Maybe if you lingered on some of the better quotes it would work more. It is hard for the brain to process written information while at the same time trying to listen to a auditory message. The overall message gets lost in the brain trying to decide which to focus on. I know some might say we do that everyday but you are not presenting ethier the auditory or visual message as background information. Both forms of the message are fighting to take the role as primary information. Also, the opening where you speak sounded like you were stuttering. If you were going for a certain sound effect it didn’t quite work. Just some constructive criticism.

The intent behind the video is awesome, but I agree, it was too fast.

Change the world by being a lil more generous each day.

How do I heal the world? I make people laugh! If I go one day without making someone laugh, I haven’t had a good day!

what? what?? … mental masturbation and lofty ideas feel good and are fine in theory … but if people would get off the internet (and off their asses) for just one day a year and plant some trees we actually would be healing the world instead of adding to global warming by expelling hot air .. I mean expressing our lofty thoughts … just sayin’

In most municipalities [city-limits] it is illegal to plant trees without a permit and a fee of 25$ to 50$ per planting. Trees are considered a potential hasard to the environment in cities and towns. Wind, rain, ice, snow-storms bring limbs and trees to the ground, and power lines and obstruct highways for public transportation and emergency vehicles, and are costly to clean up. Absolutely no tree planting in the city near my residence, telephone poles-yes, street light supports-yes, large signs giving directions here there everywere-yes, stop light cables and limbs-yes, advertisement bill boards-yes, radio, TV, cell phone towers-yes, expressway right aways around and around desert arenas, but of couse, TREES-NO! Most construction requires all trees be removed before building can begin! and in the last ten years building growth has increased 100 fold. it may be to late already! an impossible thought 25, 50 100 years ago! my future? a suburbanite dude or a country freak? maybe both, a freaky suburbanite with a strange talking dog looking for a tree!
