Interested in saving the world? Me too! Here are some of my best and favorite ideas for saving humankind:
- If someone cuts you off while driving, offer them a prayer or a blessing instead of anger.
- Recycle.
- Whatever you want for yourself, want it more for other people.
- Use energy-efficient light bulbs.
- Drop your grudges. (They serve only to poison you.)
- Concern yourself with your actions and thoughts more than you concern yourself with the actions or thoughts of others.
- If it’s yellow, leave it mellow. If it’s brown flush it down.
- Smile.
- “Never underestimate your power to change yourself. Never overestimate your power to change others.” – H. Jackson Brown, Jr.
- Give whatever you want more of.
- Create what you want rather than resisting what you don’t want. Mother Teresa refused to attend an anti-war rally. “But as soon as you have a pro-peace rally,” she replied, “I’ll be there.”
- Exercise.
- Eat grass-fed beef. Or become a vegetarian.
- Create peace through peace. “Fighting for peace is like screwing for virginity.” – Wayne Dyer
- Dream more.
- Work less.
- Subscribe to my blog by e-mail.
- Eat dessert first.
- Use your talents in a way that helps other people.
- Volunteer.
- See yourself in others.

Save the illusion? Hmmm, interesting.
This is my favorite thing I do to try to create a bit more peace for myself and others, though we are all one.
When the person ahead of me on line at a register is a buck or two short of what they need I hand it to them. To a person they have all been gracious and thankful. That simple action made their life easier, my life easier and possibly helped them realize that someone cares.
I’ve had people ask for my address to repay me. I ask them to do it for someone else.
Try it, the action only costs a buck or two and will generate a moment of gratitude for two people. The person I ‘help’ is grateful and I’m am grateful to have been in the position to help.
Makes the illusion a nicer place to live. : )

The meat and dairy industry produces more climate-changing emissions than all the planes, cars and lorries on the planet.
Kind of puts no.2, 4 and 7 into perspective doesn’t it?

And volcanos produce many times more emissions than that. Human caused climate change is almost impossible. Especially when 90% or more of greenhouse gas is just water vapor, which is largely caused by plants and simple evaporation.

4. Use energy-efficient light bulbs. – let’s hope you don’t use the cheap ones with mercury in them. They are ever worse then the not so much efficient ones.

yeah, and LED ones on AC power are s**t too, the light seems to vibrate funny and its hard to focus. For now incandesant seem to still be the best.

Thinking that ‘energy efficient’ light bulbs will save the world is about as moronic and simple minded as believing that using one square of toilet paper will have the same effect. Exhaling CO2 and Cows Farting will NOT cause the ice caps to melt and the seas to rise. Those energy efficient light bulbs will not only NEVER affect one Iota of global temperature in ANY direction.. but they’re loaded with Mercury. Break one, and you’d better remove the kids, call 911, quarantine your house.. and make room for an EPA clean up team. BTW, they are made by GE.. a major contributor to the democratic party.. which promotes the Global Warming Alarmist viewpoint.. designed solely to empower itself. GE also owns NBC.. which produces the propaganda you’ve swallowed hook line and sinker.. The BBC promotes the same idiocy, and for record, the BBC employees’ Unions.. own over $9 Billion in “Green Technology” stocks.. Guess what they also promote? You got it: Global Warming hysteria and fear mongering. Maybe you haven’t heard about Climate-Gate Davey, so if not, understand this: Man-made global warming has been firmly and thoroughly discredited and exposed as the greatest HOAX in the history of the world. It’s JUNK science pure and simple. We haven’t had any warming since 1995 and what warming there was or is.. is caused by that big ball of Orange Heat radiating up there in the blue sky.. nothing else. Go lay on the beach for a few hours and take note of the color of your skin. It will turn RED.. It will Burn.. Cow farts will never, ever, ever do that! I just can’t understand how so many people have simply lost the ability to think and observe for themselves. Remaining Willfully Ignorant will bite you in the ass when all is said and done. I agree 100%! I am dumbfounded(no pun intended) by peoples reactions when I bring up the solar information. On a side note find the true meaning of liberty, I think you will start using the word freedom in its place.

The reduction of my electric bill was quite noticeable when I converted to compact florescent. Anything that reduces the need for new power plants is significant. This has already happened in California, so dude I hate to tell you–do your research and the math. And a simple smile makes a lot of positive change.

Bing, I don’t believe that your electric bill was significantly reduced because you changed your light bulbs. Perhaps if you owned a Las Vegas Marquee.. it would matter. What matters is your heating and/or cooling or the hot water for your showers or dishwasher, or washer/dryer or big screen TV.. but not your idiotic light bulbs.. give me a break. What is your beef with power plants? Or the Power they produce? You have something against the energy that makes everything you take for granted.. possible? Why don’t you give up some.. NO..
