Second, congratulations to Sarah for winning our 5 Things contest. Sarah is the first female blog buddy to win a prize! Represent! Sarah will receive a copy of “How to be an Explorer of the World” by Keri Smith from the author herself! A big thank you to Keri for donating the book and helping with the contest.
To enter the contest, each blog buddy had to write 5 things about where they were sitting that they didn’t notice when they first sat down. So, it’s my turn. Here are Davey Wavey’s 5 Things:
- The smoke from the turkey burger that I burned still lingers.
- Chipotle (my dog) is watching me type (and it’s a little creepy).
- There is a big “X” scratched into my floor.
- What does that valve do? Seriously, I’ve never seen it before.
- My neighbor is still masturbating. Just kidding.

What a great idea! I know I’m late to the game, but I’m going to play anyway:
1. I can hear the washing machine working its ass off with all the jeans I just threw in it.
2. The only thing louder than the washing machine is the sound of my dog, Rolfe snoring.
3. Victor/Victoria is on TV and I didn’t even turn to that station.
4. Even my appliances are gay.
5. The dog’s chew toy looks like something you’d buy in an adult book store.

Well Davey, since you asked so nicely about twitter, done.
And the five things is a good exercise in situational awareness.
1. the sound of the cd vibrating on top of the computer case.
2. the conversation between some of my housemates in the next room.
3. the bottle of nail polish next to my foot (how the hell did that get there?)
4. there’s at least four dollars in odd change sitting between the screen and the keyboard.
5. … and why is my coffee mug from work sitting next to me?
… OK, so I’m not paying much attention to my desk.

Wow.I just got home from pulling an all nighter tryin to make my friend feel better im just about ready to crash and i notice an email from Davey!Im like….YAY! And then it says i won and im like??????.lol.I honestly have never won anything ever!I honestly think that there were better ones then mine,but i take pride in knowing that someone as amazing as Davey had a say in that.Davey you are a perfect example of how this world could be if we all tried a little harder.You are definitely my hero!
