Today, Chipotle and I ventured down to one of Rhode Island’s gorgeous beaches. With the mercury reaching 48 degrees Fahrenheit, today was the first preview of the warmer weather to come; alas, the tight grip of winter is waning in the northern hemisphere.
The sun is bright, the waves are small but cheerful and the air is thick with the energy of a world being born anew. If you have a moment or two, come join us on the beach.

That is so beautiful. A beach can be a great opportunity to look at the beauty of the world. There is sand and water and it is all circulating in a never-ending cycle.

You look great with your clothes on! (almost as good as with your clothes off)

I was just going to say the same thing thinking we should all send him spare clothes since he seems to be lacking in that dept. Here in Long Beach the weather on the beach is still swim suitable. I prefer just all black jockey shorts on a secluded beach in Laguna that’s my February thing. If I venture out in the water there its safe In long beach and Hunting ton Beach the water is polluted from winter storm run off. We are likly to get rain now. So I’m going to postpone going back to Laguna for now. I f I want to expirence weather and beach like yours now I can go by Palos Verdes Peninsula or take a drive up to Carmel/Monterey. A circuit City add is blocking me now. I thought they went out of business and good ridence. Did some idiot dredge them up from the dead? And why given there laughable prices an airheaded out high schollers who were with them to the end purging older workers that could give you the time of day. I don’t have a watch. You have a cell phone and the time is updated constantly via sattelite. doesn’t get more acurate than that Oh. I forgot about that. Dugh.

To appreciate the beauty around us one must be willing to traverse the frozen or arid, seemingly desolate, places of the earth and ponder on what else occurs beyond what can be told by mere glances. Get out there and experience every detail. I wish i had someone to experience and share such beauty with…

Davey,
The beach in Rhode Island sounds awesome, despite the chilly temperature. I’m not sure what you and Chipotle were doing on the beach, but it would be cool to see video of that….maybe a special edition of a talky blog. My BF and I have a big yellow lab that would absolutely love playing on the beach!
Thanks for sharing part of your beach time with us!!!

I believe that the beach in question is Narragansett Town Beach with some photos taken by the adjoining private Dunes Club. The pic with the fence in the background looks to have been taken over in the dunes by the mouth of the Narrow River. You can also see the tip of Newport as it is the land to the left in the last picture.

Finger-painting a T-shirt on him could be fun.
