Recently, a friend asked me what my goals are for the next stage of my life.
I looked at him like a deer in the headlights. “Goals? But I’m so happy with where I’m at right now.”
Being so content with the present, I realized that I was paying little attention to the future. I very much trust in the flow of the universe – but it is still wise to have some hopes and dreams to manifest. Visualization is a very powerful thing (something to which all you Secret fans could attest). So, what are my short term goals:
- Buy a Mac.
- Plan a 2 month vacation for the fall.
- But some of my workout tips on Youtube.
- Learn.
- Work less.
And my long term goals:
- Visit Australia.
- See more of the United States.
- Create an online version of my Life Perspective program.
- Help people achieve physical and non-physical wellness.
- Pay off my mortgage ahead of schedule.
- Further explore my purpose in life.
- Work less.
So there they are. I guess I don’t know where I’m going, but these are a few benchmarks that I’d like to achieve on that journey. And above and beyond all these goals, I want to continue enjoying each day with an open heart and mind.

I always like to set goals for myself…this way when opportunities that can help me achieve these goals arise, I’ll know to take advantage of them.

You are a positive person.

Goals are fine, but they should not be followed to the exclusion of all else, going with the flow is good.
Life is too short to be so driven that you miss smelling the flowers.
Let goals be just a general direction, a guide, not an imperative.
Look me up when you get to Oz, it is an amazing place of great people.
Yeah, I’m biased, so what!
But while you are in the south, make sure you visit NZ, especially the south island. The people are as amazing as the country.
Thats my 2c worth.
Cheers.

Hi Davey Wavey, just wanted to wish you good luck acheiving all of your goals!
March 29, 2008 at 10:50 am
Hello Dave.
I wish your goals will come true.
Oh, Work less??? You barely work already.
Take care.
March 29, 2008 at 11:08 am
Hey Davey, good luck in all of your life goals but i think that Greg’s advice is worth much much more that 2c!
If you’re too driven you might just drive past the flowers!
Peace xxx

Davey I have learned that if you write down your goals and read them daily and visualize them. Then they are more than likely to come into reality.
)
Also- I know you are 24 but you should be thinking about your retirement and having a nest egg to get you through your retirement. especially since you have a lot of earning potential.

Such a wonderful list. It takes a lot of courage to sit down and confront those things that you not only need, but want as well. Personal desire to better yourself is always a great form of progression and going with the flow of the universe, while perfect in it’s own way, it is still a good thing to set those things for yourself that you wish to visualize.
Thanks Dave…keep ‘em coming!

I think its funny that when potentially controversial material is posted ( Colin running around naked in your condo ) that another post with much more innocuous material is quickly to follow.
its like changing the subject when it gets uncomfortable.
Sooo Colin and Davey have been having wild monkey sex and Colin is toolin around naked in the talkie blogs. Wonder what Wil will say?
heh heh.
March 29, 2008 at 8:11 pm
Davey you stated the following laudable goal..
“Help people achieve physical and non-physical wellness”
I would encourage you to continue to seek out and talk to men and women who have concerns about their sexuality.
xoxoxo

u bought a mac?? what one??
March 30, 2008 at 3:10 am
Work less… Amen
March 30, 2008 at 7:31 am
Would you consider changing “work less” to “play more”?
Consider that work could potentially be something you regard as play. Doing something that you have a real passion around and enjoy tremendously could also be your job. Wouldn’t it be wonderful to find something you love AND profit from?
Imagine living a life where there is no separation from work and play – because they are both the same thing. Just a thought.

“You ask people for questions but most part you don’t answer them. You must know that a lot of questions will be of a sexual nature, so instead of avoiding them shouldnt you answer them? If you pride yourself on sharing your “journey” with the blog buddies then you must share ALL aspects of your life, not just some aspects.” Steve, Mar 29, 2008
“Mehr Licht” – Goethe.
Davey,
I’ m back. First, I always and only intended to formulate my own feelings and my own thoughts. I respect everyone here but I don’t want anybody to interpret them.
You wanted to share with us your “journey” , so I hope my comments are still welcome, appropriate and useful and sometime required ; it not a “one-way blog”.
I don’t have to agree all time with what you wrote or said. I’m not a “yes-man”.
But I don’t think I overreacted to the 1st talky blog with your mate Colin. I was not the only one to.
Sure, I was angry, a cold and healthy anger. Certainly, it was a crushing remark. It was not a question of “self-satisfaction” to say what had to be said, as one pointed out.
358 questions of all sorts, important for most of the blog buddies and you showed us such a flippancy.
I only told you what I would have said to my best friend, nothing more, nothing less : the truth, my truth.
And as I can see, you still go on building a wall all around you. You said that “you want to continue enjoying each day with “an open heart and mind”, but if you take no account of any advices. Soon, you won’t be able to see, to hear, to talk to anyone else but you. You will be enclose into your own convictions.
I still trust in your perspectives, your vision of life. But for the moment, sorry, I don’t agree with your policy.
It’s always good and necessary to have dreams. It gives you goals in life, in short and long terms but with always rules which stuck to reality.
Only you can change the rules. Otherwise, you will arrive to a break-point with your convictions and maybe with your blog buddies.
You have certainly noticed I never talked about sex on your blog. But, I’m trying to understand why your “show case website” on You Tube is always the same with “Your hot neighbor masturbating”.Why couldn’t it be more representative of the message you want to get across – the“interest and the perspective of life” you want to share with us. That let me confused. There is a contradiction elsewhere.
So, can’t you, once, break this wall of incomprehension between you and us.
Have a good day.

Sorry for blowing up your pages today with comments but it’s one of my spiritual practices to fill my energy field up with the energy I am most wanting to be in vibration with and your blog(vlogs) get me right there. So… on to what I wanted to tell you about…This post looks exactly like my season 2 goals list but it’s missing the practices part. I been active in the 100 day reality challenge. It’s free, which who doesn’t love that… you use the principles of universe for a hundred day to focus and manifest your dreams faster, easier and with an entire community of supporters!
