My crib.

I can’t believe that I’ve been in Toronto for a full week already! Time flies, always.

I’ve been warming up to my new neighborhood… I’ll be sure to take some pictures soon to share with you. Meanwhile, I snapped a few pictures of my new crib:

Meanwhile, I’ve been spending a lot of time with Toronto friends, new and old. I’ll try and talk some of them into doing a talky blog, but it’s a tough sell.

Jessica, for example, was at a gay club last night and got recognized from the blog.

Generally, people don’t come up to me if they recognize me. Every now and then, someone approaches me – but more often, I get emails from people asking, “Were you on Yonge Street at 5:15 yesterday? I swear I saw you!” With 500,000 people a month reading my blog or watching the videos on Youtube, getting recognized is inevitable. But it’s always funny how excited and nervous people get. I mean, it’s just me. Davey Wavey.

In other news, Colin officially arrives on Thursday in time for some of the Pride festivities. Colin may force me to stay up past 9:30 and go to an event or two. We’ll see.

Today I’m thankful for sour sugar candies, black cherries, Jessica, gymnastics and dreams.

  15. DAVEY!
the place downtown looks really similar to your place in RI =) i think you should go with colin,i mean what do you have to lose besides a bit of sleep? (which you can always make up in the morning)

  16. For all your ranting about gay white rich men, look at yourself and this place you’re living in. And all these things you do to raise money for yourself. I hope you give some money back to charity.

  17. I like your place very much. I ‘m sure you arer going to enjoy it there.

    Kisses…

  18. you have a TV in your new place!

lol.. do you know how to even use one???

  19. David,

Do I pay attention to people on to the street ?. Not so, I’m always in my thoughts.

Obviously, if a superb greyhound sniffes my jean with a man in tow wearing a T-shirt with an visible inscription “Peace out”, he will certainly catch all my attention !.

What will he do if he were in my shoes ? .

More seriously, are you really happy or a little embarrassed that people come up to you? I’m wondering if you ever had a long and serious discussion with them about your blog or videos on you tube.

    bye,

  20. Yay! Very excited about Colin ;)
