First off, I got an email from the greyhound folks. For those of you that don’t know, I’m going to be adopting a rescued racing greyhound. It looks like they found a match for me. So, Thursday night I’m going to meet my prospective new greyhound. Apparently she’s recovering from a broken leg, but doing just fine. Despite my cast and injury fetish, I think I’ll manage. Here is her picture:

Her name is currently “Debussy” – which reminds me of “de p***y”, so I think she’ll need a name change. What are your suggestions for a name? Leave them in the comments.
P.S. Tomorrow, Will is coming over and we’re hitting up gymnastics class again. This time, we’re going to be armed with our flip cameras. So – I’m sure a fun-filled video is in store.

worst dog name ever – kevin. there’s a dog named steve at our daycare. that’s a close second.
i like daisy. must be one or two syllables, for calling in the dog park, but that can be the nickname.
sascha is also good. or jasmine or lotus.
miss shelby and miss lexie are my girls.

i think this poor doggy is a fighter and a true goddess. therefore i think “GAIA” is a perfect name. Gaia pronounced Gee’ya is the divine goddess of the earth, full of love , compassion and mercy.
she would love this name.
