I just wanted to provide a very quick update regarding my colonoscopy yesterday and my ongoing health concerns.
The colonoscopy, though a bit more complicated than typical, went off without a major hitch. When I came off the sedation drugs, the doctor showed me some pictures of my “healthy colon.” I remember telling him that I was going to post them on Facebook. Even thinking about social networks under sedation
Here’s the exciting news: I am cancer-free! In fact, I’m happy to report that the cause of my symptoms was one of the better case scenarios. The doctors did a good job of preparing me for the worst – but my family (and my mom in particular) are all breathing a collective sigh of relief.
I need to thank you for your support and tremendous outpouring of notes that I’ve received over the last few weeks. Thank you for all your thoughts and prayer. I really appreciate it – and I am very grateful. Thank you.
I am eager to go back to thinking about less important things.
So, another chapter closed and another adventure comes to an end. On to the next!

Nice, D!
I was certain from day dot that it was all going to be OK.
The ‘C’ word is such an awful word to hear.
Let’s hope this is the last time you do hear it.
Enjoy the rest of your… life!

On Nov 28 I wrote: “you have overcome fear – but trepidation of the unknown lingers. prepared for death – but the desire to cling to this dimension impedes its arrival. deeper introspection from this has allowed a stronger connection to your higher consciousness. all will be well and your light burns brighter because of it.”
the spirits never lie – and i look forward to many more years of bathing in your light and soaking up your wisdom
Peace.

I’m very glad your’e allright. I was really worried about you there. I actually had problems sleeping one night a few weeks ago, thnking of how I could be sad about someone I never met having cancer.
You are on my top 5 list of important people in my life (that is except my family), if your’e not number 1.
Peace and love, happy for you
