I was about your age when I had the first test. At about fifty you should be checked out every four years. I think I had two before reaching that age. My grandfather died of colon cancer and the nurses that were with him considered him heroic, given the severity of the situation he made no fuss.

Congrats!! Hopefully, more men will become active in maintaining their health by going for check-ups but also by checking themselves (e.g. checking for lumps – testicular cancer). xx

I had a feeling you were too young and healthy to have anything like colon cancer (you’re not obese and I bet you don’t eat a lot of red meat, not that those are the only causes, but…). I’m happy for you.

I am very happy for you and i have been praying for you. What seems strange though is that you thanked everyone for their good thoughts and prayers but you have stated you are not a believer. I am not trying to convert you or to criticize or judge you.
Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs or not. I just think it strange that you would appreciate someone’s prayers in your behalf.
In any case I am very happy for you.
