New York City Pride 2010 Pictures!

If a picture is worth 1,000 words, I’ll let these pictures from the 2010 NYC Pride March speak for themselves:

It was so nice bumping into so many blog buddies and YouTubers. You all rock my socks – it was so sweet of you to say hello! (Hey Cara, Kyle, Arielle, Matt and all the others!). I also filmed a Pride Message for OurSceneTV – once it’s up, I’ll be sure to post it!

Wherever you are, I’m sending some “pride” spirit your way. Happy Pride Everyone!

  1. No, Davide. Sad but true. Go read the book I told you about before by the noted historian, William Manchester “A World Lit Only By Fire.” It’s about the Dark Ages and the dark actions of our beloved Church. Don’t forget that it is administered by humans who sometimes have been political.

  2. It was! Hot (in a couple of ways!) but fun and indeed, full of pride. As a guy who graduated from high school the year Stonewall took place, it filled my eyes with tears more than once to see how far we have come.

I noted that many of the floats were still political in nature. That’s because we’re not done yet. We have a lot more work to do.

  3. Tom I have no desire to read such filth. Thanks for the offer

  4. David, Somethings I don’t get either. I think many pride events do serve a purpose. But most of the time it does set back mainstream acceptance by decades. Many claim these parades are about civl rights-yet did the civil rights marchers dress up like queens? oil-down boys in thongs, men pissing on each other, sodomy on the streets in front of children? The last few years cities finally wising up and asking the gay community to tone it down some. I couldn’t even imagine someone like Martin Luther King handing out a lollipop shaped like a penis to a child. The gay community need to get its own house in order before we demand these rights. These rights will never come. This is a no brainer.

  5. BRAVO David. Like I said we want equality and acceptance but most of all we want “civil rights”. These things will never happen if we don’t act civil and respectful. We act like beast we will be treated like beast. These gay parades are so typical its crazy. Truth is many pride marchers are selfish and could give a damn about acceptance or being civil. They want the world to see they are different…yea guys we see you are different…now come down off your float shaped like a penis and join society in possitive ways

  6. Hey, this is Matt! It was amazing seeing you at Pride! I’m really glad we have a chance to get together and just celebrate being us, without other factors getting in the way. No matter what age, weight, race, or religion, we can all share one thing, and I really just love that feeling of being around all of that “pride”. It just feels so wonderful. You’ll always have a subscriber in me! :D
