François de la Rochefoucauld famously said, “The only thing constant in life is change.” And so it occurred to me that a little change was long overdue.
Today, I’m thrilled to unveil a new look for my blog. It’s cleaner, simpler and more readable. Blog posts were given a larger area – which means we have more room to share pictures and videos. The navigation has been simplified and I love having a large panoramic image at the top of the site. From time to time, I’ll switch it up to keep things fresh and relevant.
More changes will be rolling out in the days and weeks ahead, so stay tuned. And if you find any bugs or glitches, be sure to let me know in the comments or through email; there will be some growing pains as things transition over and as I upgrade things on the back-end.
But overall, what do you think of the new look? Any suggestions? Concerns? Share them in the comments below.

I love the new look of it, but I can’t really read anything because the adds overlap the text.

I love the new style. And also agree with whoever wants more color. My only remark is that I can’t find the link to blog tv anymore or the link to sign in to chat. If anybody knows where they are at please show me.

Some of the ads are overlapping the text a bit — I don’t know if there’s a way to fix that but it might be something to put on a to-do list if there is. Otherwise, I like it, it’s very clean!

Hey there – yeah, it’s totally an issue with lower resolution screens. I’m working on it!

Wow, Davey, nice job! It’s very clear and easy to read! It’s a fresh new design for sure!

Hi Davey
Looks great. The only thing is that it seems a bit right heavy now…with both the sidebars on the right, it just feels a bit unbalanced.
Other than that though, fantastic – the website, and you

Its awesome! Talk about a decluttering! Well done Davey, its spectacular!

Loving the new layout concept. It’s just not displaying properly on my system. I went and made sure I was using the latest Firefox, and still no dice. The navigation and the banners on the right side aren’t all the way to the right and they overlap the posts.

I like it, though a lot of ads =\
You have beautiful eyes Davey, you can really see it in your banner. And you’ve got some of what I like to call “ginger-kid-freckles”, I think they’re sexy.

You blog does not work on the iPad. The alignment is messed up and that is where I spend most of my time reading from.

I can’t read some parts of the text ’cause there are some adds overlapping them! :/

Yes – I know some readers are having an issue with that. It’s displaying that way on lower res screens but it should be fixed in a day or two.

I love the new look, although the ads overlap the text

I like this new look.
I like the bigger font and the more space for text, cause text is sort of what blogs are all about, right?
And I don’t see any text being overlapped, so maybe you already patched that up, or it fixed itself. Who knows.
But any ways, I digg the new look.

i like it, but for some reason it feels more cluttered than before? the banner is nice, but too big, and the logo seems brushed off to the side. and i agree with everyone else – the ads feel like they’re taking up 1/2 the page. Change is good, however this feels like a one size fits all template. considering your background in graphic design and website development, I expected more.

Seems awkward to have two columns of ads on the right, especially since they don’t align with one another. You may want to consider having a column on the left and a column on the right. Just my opinion
