  21. Sail on, Sail on
    By: Ronald F. Brown
    5/8/2007

Crafted by loving hands of the artisan from well thought-out plans.
Launched to set sail from the harbor of origin for adventure.
At first testing the maneuvers for which you were meant to explore.
With each turn of your keel reactions from the diverse tides react.
Lessons valuable and sure for the journey that lay before you.
Unfurling your sails and going with the pulling winds to reach speeds and distance along the way.
Currents sometimes in your favor and the wind hits the sails just right.
Destination seems only smooth sailing ahead.
Then in the sun rich time of noon the wind is taken from your unfurled sails leaving you almost unable to move and guided in any direction.
Stillness that hoped to be taken with the wind is replaced by careful recalibration of maps, nautical calculations and wondering how you can find the wind again.

The heat of day that once was praised for its warmth now seems overwhelming with intensity.
Then as if an answer to a prayer the whirl of wind finds your mast and flows against the new course correction to push onward.
Grey replaces the pale blue and rain fills the air and beats upon the frame.
For caution sails retract and reaction causes hatches to be batten down.
How long will this storm last?
Which direction should my wheel face to handle the approaching intense tide that awaits me?
Battered by the crashing waves upon thee with fears that this might capsize and take you down.
It is in that moment that the true make testing of the crew and capabilities of your design are put to test.
In the midst of the roaring storm reflection flashes in an instant longing for the smooth sailing, but quickly fades to handle the current battle for existence.
Will the sun return to its dominance and clouds so mischievous in their effect be removed from my path?

Then as if queued by the divine the rains reduce and heights of crashing waves shrink back.
A color filled bow cast its arch in the distance.
With care the sails once again find their release guided by the rope upon thy mast.
Smiles replace the panic and accomplishment and thankfulness for the end of the storm.
As the warmth of the day is restored, it is then that the captain realizes that if it was not for the test of storms he would not appreciate the make up of his vessel.
A new appreciation for the warmth of day and blessing of wind upon the sails is found.
From the midst of reflection with confidence the captain proclaims, sail on my vessel, sail on.

  27. On the third picture down it looks like there is a bump on your left side just above the small of your back. Maybe it is an optical illusion, or maybe it is a lipoma. Just thought I’d throw that out there.

  28. In your third image, on the left side of you there is a large lump on your back.
Jump noticed my love, I hope it isnt anything serious.
    Cheers.
