Question: Gay sex vs. straight sex.

I was talking to Alyssa, my friend at the gym, about the freakishness of gay sex vs. straight sex. In general, do you think straight people or gay people are freakier in the bedroom? Leave your answer in the comments.

I’ll hold my tongue and share my thoughts in a future talky blog.

  1. Laz, you’re “skanky” as-well!! __davvi

  2. Douglas Kindle: i agree with you. Alternative(gay) and str8 sex “Are” equal. Both can be “just-as-kinky”,or, _like, _ “freaky”, as some others describe-it. __davvi

  3. To Davey Wavey:
Many of your recent blogs deal with perspective and our tendency to place labels and judgements on certain aspects of our lives. With this being said, any sex can be considered freaky. To the extremely conservative couple/ group, BDSM or role playing may be freaky just as the more adventurous couple/ group may find routine and simplicity to be odd forms of sexual gratification. It’s all how you look at it- in the end, it’s still sex.

P.S. Some of you fellow readers are quite creative!
    Cheers

  4. Alien Porn? Well after that hot scene in the new Star Trek movie where the young Kirk has sex with a green-skinned alien (his favorite type) I might be willing to reconsider my own views on the subject…

Alien Porn raises all kinds of questions. What do you think of the Grays as sex partners? What kinds of aliens would you kiss or not? Would you find a species with more arms and legs to embrace you a turn on? Tentacles perhaps? More sexual organs? Different kinds of sexual organs? Genetically engineered species designed to provide intense experiences with humans? Ah, the possibilities are endless. Or could be incredibly frightening.

  5. To be honest it really all depends on personal preference. Both gay and straight couples can be kinky, and even the term kinky is defined by ones own ideas. One thing that may be considered too far in the bedroom may be considered to be an action that is a common act by someone else. Its exactly the same when it comes to which group may be more kinky or freakish. Normally, no two couple are completely the same, there will always be that small difference for what may be too far or even not enough. That’s just my two bit…

  6. I’m a licensed psychotherapist with both straight and gay clients. Both are equally freaky, trust me. I hear very intimate details of the sex lives of both gay and straight clients and am surprised at the sameness of their complexity.

  7. I think gay people are more open to trying new things because they are more comfortable with their partner’s body. I mean, we have all the same bits and pieces, so you don’t lay there wondering “does that feel good for her?” like straight couples do.

  8. depend on wether you think sex in itself is a freakish thing.

  9. Gay sex vs. Straight sex – being 15 i havent even experience either (or have i?) na – but why do people say gay sex is dirty; i think it is the same! A man will quite happily do his stuff to a woman, there is no different to a man doin hos stuff to a man or a woman doing her things with a woman. Some people need to accept that people are attracted to different things – gay people have been on this world since life began – live with it! I think straight people are indenial of gay people because they themselves don’t understand our minds. We are the stronger ones and will come over the homophobic population.

Do you think that is fair enough to say or you want me to continue – lol – (btw i was getting quite hot headed over this issue – stick up for my type GAY)

    Love an Peace,
    Jack

  10. Hey Davey,

I think that depends on your upbringing and how healthy that upbringing was. Also on how comfortable you are with yourself.

A “Str8″ man who may have insecurity about his straightness, may tend to be more aggressive in the bedroom with a woman to have the appearance of being a “macho” man. His sex with men may be aggressive also, so he does not appear to be a “girly” boy.

Whereas, a “Gay” man who is not comfortable with the stigmas that “he” feels society puts on homosexuals, may be extreme in his kinkyness during a sexual encounter with another man.(especially when he first comes out) To prove to himself that there is nothing wrong with that fact that he has homosexual fantansies.

However, a straight man who in comfortable with his body and understands the way that the body works on a holistic level as well as how the body responds to external stimulous, will be a “love maker”, and will have continuously gratifying sexual experiences (man or woman), that are equally satisfying for the other person involved.

Likewise, a gay man who is comfortable with his body and understands the that the body works on a holistic level, as well as how the body responds to external stimulus will also be a “love maker”, and will also have continuously gratifying sexual experience (man or woman), that are equally satisfying for the other person involved.

P.S. these are just some possible scenarios that human psyche is so diverse it’s hard to cover it all with generalizations.

  11. Having both Gay and Straight sex in my past, I must say that Gay sex if freakier and personally more enjoyable. I find it that two guys are more relaxed during sex and this is what makes it more enjoyable and even freaker. Now, obviously two men can’t produce a child out of the act which some would argue makes straight sex the most freaky because of the meeting of the sperm and the egg that makes life.

    • I don’t think gay nor straight sex is freaky as you put it. I think that some people are not able to comprehend the way a gay man feels during sex in comparison to themselves as a steaight man (Does that make sense?) I have not experienced either as said in my post afew comments back, but when i do experience sex with another man, i will feel comfortable and normal; because that is what you to to show and express your love. It is exactly the same as straight sex other than 2 men can not produce life and that you have to go in at a different angle literally – if you get what i mean.

I think we shouldn’t begrudge either gay or straight sex, because without straight sex we all wouldn’t be here today, but without gay sex; homosexuals wouldn’t know how to express their love in a sexual way.

      Love and Peace,

      Jack

  12. If you mean freaky in the feisty sense, then gay people are feistier. The are more active and, well just more feisty. Straight people are all calm and boring.

  19. Hey Davey,

I almost guarantee that it is straight people if you go by percentage. Keep in mind part of the reason I say straight people is because of the reality of what goes on a straight bedroom. Sometimes judgment in the world is not so reflected in the bedroom.

  20. I think that’s pretty much universal. haha ;)

  21. Lol. Thank GOD you’re gay? I can’t say I’ve ever met a man who said that.

  22. Ive only had straight sex, so i cant answer the question, although my desire to try getting it on with a guy is almost overwhelming, maybe once i do ill have the answer.
