Hey Blog Buddies,
It’s about time that I installed a favicon on my blog. What’s a favicon? It’s that little square image that you’ll see next to the URL (at least, in some browsers) or next the website’s name in your folder of bookmarks.
I’m stuck.
I created four favicons – all of which I like. So, I figured it was best to ask you. Which favicon is your favorite? Vote in the poll below!

The little face is cute and all, but hardly a handy reminder of which bookmark I’m looking at. The DW is distinctive enough to be helpful.

Agreed! Please everyone pick #3. Because you can’t really see the face that god anyway

good*

Ditto what they said!
September 26, 2008 at 3:42 pm
Yeah I would agree on the DW, maybe, yes pick that one people.
September 27, 2008 at 10:13 am
I definitely agree. The face gets lost. The DW is distinctive and defnitely brands Davey Wavey.

I really really like #3, it differentiates itself from all others. xoxo

im so glad u decided to “dedicate more time to your blog” it is really showing! kudos to you!

so many important things in the world, but this is what why you went from full time to part time, to ask us about icons”????????????
September 26, 2008 at 9:07 pm
Drama for nothing.
September 27, 2008 at 12:27 am
Details are important. Fun random things are important. Keeping a serious tone for too long will kill this site. In fact, a over-extended monotonely grave atmosphere is quite toxic. True story
September 26, 2008 at 5:12 pm
i have to agree, this is a pointless blog entry. I do hope you crave more substance, some of us are really stuggling out here in the real world, seeing our saving go under, and your spirituality and guide through life asks us this? You need to read a paper, or be in touch with the world, this is as shallow as it gets.
September 26, 2008 at 9:09 pm
So you’re saying because he asks us our opinion on small things all the other wonderful things he does are useless?
Think again. He was kind enough to ask us what we thought.
September 26, 2008 at 5:15 pm
4 is repugnant and 1 look like the butt of a fat lady bending over.
September 26, 2008 at 5:33 pm
I like the small face. I can easily recognice your smile.
And I think you should try a less “square” favicon. Maybe the DW one, but not inside a square, just the white letters with a blue border.
The first and the last ones, they are just too simple and don’t represent your blog.
September 26, 2008 at 5:53 pm
Finally, I’ve only been telling you to get a favicon for months.
September 26, 2008 at 6:05 pm
I just put your link at the top of my internet browser as a little quick link. So I love that within 1 week you asked us to vote! So AWESOME!!!
September 26, 2008 at 6:12 pm
I would go with two. More original.
September 26, 2008 at 7:11 pm
glad you took my advice?
September 26, 2008 at 9:10 pm
I was struggling between 2 and 3. Decided for 2 because as Ace said it’s original, almost no one puts faces on favicons
September 27, 2008 at 12:03 am
Definitely the DW choice #3 because the one of your face is too small… and the heart and peace sign are too generic.
September 27, 2008 at 12:41 am
How about a c**k?
September 27, 2008 at 1:06 am
you’re a handsome gay.
September 27, 2008 at 11:11 am
I say go with your face. It’s a more vivid and intricate coloring and therefore more easily scanned to. Yes, the DW is more literal and descriptive, but bland and joyless.

THAT LOOK U HAVE THERE IS YOUR LOOK,THATS WHY I PICKED NUM.2 YEA HES RIGHT U R CUTE,NOPE THATS ALL IM GONNA SAY,ILL KEEP THE REST 2 MYSELF::ken77
September 27, 2008 at 3:20 pm
The second pic looks great.. i am still leaning towards the heart shape. hey. combine one and two. that might be a winner~
September 27, 2008 at 8:01 pm
I was wondering if you could superimpose the peace sign over the heart? Maybe it’s too small to read.
I like the heart because where there’s love, peace should also be present.

The DW works. So does the face. I don’t think its too small because a) you are distinctive, and b) my mind makes it larger. Ultimately, its your choice Davey. Thanks for asking us, and I’m sure we’ll all support your final decision. Peace Out.

Quite honestly, I think another good option would be to just stick with the question mark. It shows the idea that you are questioning the world to find answers. And you are always questioning us to help us discover our ever changing selves.
