My body is perfect for me, always… even though I’m 17 and also overweight… I have arms, legs, a functional brain… I’m pretty damn lucky… My fat content is what makes me unhappy… But that doesn’t make me useless… l like my body… but it needs some “fine-tuning”.

I’m a model and I lost a lot of weight after I got a really bad stomach flu, and now I look kind of stringy. From a career standpoint, my body isn’t exactly ideal. Once this tight semester is over, I’ll start gaining weight and working out so hopefully I’ll get a body like yours soon, Davey :) .

I’m happy with the way I am, even though I’m a bit overweight. Although, I’ve noticed that I’m dropping the pounds because of joining swim team, and I’m actually eating MORE than before, because it makes me so hungry. Kinda convenient :P I’m loosing wieght without dieting ^^ Practice is intense, though.

I have often thought about this question. I believe my body is perfect just the way it is… but it is not healthy. i am 17 and going on 300lbs. i look fine because of my height, and am not in any danger…yet. i know that if i keep my diet the way it is now, i will eventually get hit with something very serious. is it perfect the way it it…yes. am i healthy no.

I feel the same way about my body as I do my old favorite pea jacket. Sure its not the nicest jacket, maybe its had a button sewed back on and its frayed in a few spots, it has a few more stitches then it started life with. But threadbare as it is, when the wind picks up and the sleet comes whistling through my cold as hell province. I cant help but be thankful for its steadfast warmth and high collar. I guess my bodies the same way flowery analogies aside. I take care of it, and it returns the kindness.

One thing you should never be in life is complacent. People who are complacent never get anywhere that said my body is far from perfect but I progressively make choices to improve that daily.

People say if you are miserable poor, you will be miserable when your rich. The same can be said about your body but this time in terms of looks. If you don’t like your body now you will still find imperfections when it’s ‘better’. It’s best to feel the perfection NOW.

Perfection, like any judgement, is subjective and you’ll never meet everyone’s criteria for perfection. I don’t want a perfect body because I know that’s impossible. However, I would like to look in the mirror and be content with what I see. I’m not there yet but hopefully, with some work, I will be soon.

I still don’t have fat around my belly but to keep my body in good shape is hard. Making a diet is not really the solution; it is exercise and exercise as often as possible (that’s the secret). I swim regularly but in order to stay focused I imagine each lap as one more walk on the runway or I think about hair anatomy. Im also a little competitive so watching others swim I naturally feel like I need to keep moving. I like seeing the improvement, improve for the sake of improvement is fun.

I would prefer it looked differently and I’m committed to having it look the way I want it to look. Despite that, I’m happy with it as it is.

If someone gives you a compliment before and after you lose some weight for example, the second compliment does not mean that you necessarily look better after having lost the weight, only that you continue to exude the same confidence about how you feel about yourself at your new size.

Perfection is an abstract that the phsycal self will never be able to reach.

                                                                                                          Cheers!
