It’s Thursday, and (at last count) there are approximately 1.7 trillion reasons to smile today.
And while I generally don’t need a reason to smile – I like to smile just because – I asked the blog buddies on Facebook and Twitter for some of their reasons. I made a video with some of theirs – and a very special one of my own involving 5 foam boards, 45 feet of invisible thread, 25 feet of copper wire and an exacto knife. Take a look at the video, and smile:

Star Trek makes me both smile and cry. (not at the same time) Because the thing I am most passionate about is the one thing that most men I’m attracted to couldn’t care less about. They are usually more interested in Madonna, or Gaga or c**k than looking past the socially awkward scifi geek on the outside and getting to know the man underneath. Just remember guys we geeks have feelings too, and the awkwardness makes them that much more intense. sometimes too intense. Give geeks a chance, don’t drool over cool.

What an awesome video!
You really put a lot of effort into it which truly makes your message that much stronger. It’s one thing to say “I love you.” It’s another thing completely to make it out of foam boards and hang it in your home!

Nice video!!
… Tip for cutting foamboards, burn the blade of the metal knife with the flame of a lighter or a candle till the knife is hot, then it will cut the foamboards like if it was butter. Try to use a knife you don´t usually need cause this can damage the blade.
