While in Atlanta this past weekend with my friends Emily and Matt, we decided to record a talky blog about being the best version of yourself. It was after midnight (a time of night that I almost never see), and so we were all in rare form! I hope you like it – we tried to be serious but just ended up being a bit silly.
And I promise that I sound much sicker than I actually am! And my voice is finally starting to recover – I’ll be back to my squeaky-toy pitch in no time at all! But Buddha told me that if you “like” my Facebook page, I’ll get better faster. If you haven’t already, click here to follow me on Facebook.

“To thine own self be true.” If you can’t be honest to yourself then you certainly can’t to others. Also examine and reflect, all things can teach and we all have so much to learn.

Put on a smile every day before you walk out the door. Then the day is already off to a good start. Both for you and for those you meet.
A bit cheesy but kinda true.

Omg! Davey you sounded just like me after a weekend of heavy smoking! You know…. Back when I still did. To be the best you can be I’d advice you to quit what could kill you. And if you can’t, try to moderate.
That covers the body, next is the personality. Be polite, but allow yourself to be aggressive if absolutely necessary.
Don’t allow yourself to be a doormat. Makes you think less about yourself as it will allow people to think less of you. Bottom-line, do onto others as you want others to do to you

See what happens when you actually stop and notice the little things in life. You might be surprised.

Hold onto the things you have with a loose grip. It will hurt less when God pries them from your fingers.
