Nice story!!!
You truly have a lot of fantasy, the noise that your thoughts make and stuf
, really funny
- By the way, what’s that noise in the background.
- Hope you can go to Toronto.
Ohh: I just came to a questions I want to ask you: what are your good intentions (as we say in Holland) for 2008 ??

The acronym , W.A.N.T. , is at best , a try-able if not a do-able concept. Certainly something to think about. Your companionship and love are all Will needs for Christmas; the other material things are just reminders of the occasion.

Glad you had a nice Christmas and Hope your New Year is festive and filled with positive changes.

I thought Norman Vincent Peale had gone out of fashion by now.

Nice fantasy! But how abt if the whole thing (“SO HAPPY” book) turns out is intrepreted as a coincidence without anything so far to do w’ manifesting? Another question Im curious for long – is there any contradiction that a gay believes in Christianity. PS: I dont believe in Christianity but so far I know being gay is defined as guilt in the religious sense. Am I rite?
Interesting to be discussed :p

…Never a dull moment with the blog buddies…
Anyways – great thoughts on manifesting your future and moving in a positive way towards a goal or many goals you may have in life. I appreciate your thoughts on attaining those things in life that are important to you and I hope that you reach yours. (positive energy coming your way Dave!) Thanks for all the great insights and comments on not only your life but also life in general. Hope there is more to come from the world of Dave (and Will as well…) P.S.: How was the class that you taught? Hope that it went well.
Thanks – J

Toronto welcomes you!
Although it’s a bit cold right now, but you would definitely have liked our Boxing Day madness today!
December 26, 2007 at 6:24 pm
BTW, are you planning on renting an apartment when you are visiting Toronto? It’s not the cheapest city to live in unfortunately eh… lol But I hope you’ll be able to find something good, tons of really interesting neighbourhoods to choose from…
and if you’re downtown, you can essentially walk everywhere…

Why Toronto? Why not Edmonton?
Liked your WANT.
Interesting that all religions or beliefs have this kind of magic within. It is like setting a plan of action and going towards it and never letting it go.
Like it so much told my blog about it.
December 26, 2007 at 7:49 pm
Oy!
You’re getting too deep in your old age.
December 26, 2007 at 8:02 pm
I find myself in those “magical” situations all the time!

Yet another interesting talky blog…you never fail to surprise us.
I wish you all the very best for a bright and wonderful 2008.

Biirtha Asks:
“Why Toronto? Why not Edmonton?”
My theory is that the circumcision rate was quite high in the Western provinces until recently and Davey Wavey wants to be around Canadians his age that have foreskins to embrace. I would think Tortonto would have more foreskins than Edmonton.
Dave suggested that some blog budddies might be watching his blog at work? Do other blog buddies consider this blog “safe for work?

I won’t we using W.A.N.T. to break my developing addition to your blog.. videos. Thanks for dedicating so much time and effort in sharing your thoughts on cool topics… “guest appearances” and the like.
Your description of “magic” made me think of “synchronicity” (Jungs)… whether called coincidence, magic, kizmet, etc., it is nice to hear examples of it and to remind us to be on the look out for them. They are almost like dreams, we have to make a concerted effort to acknowledge them in the noise of the day. Thanks for the fine example related to Will’s present to you.
“Peace out” to you and your growing blog buddy community.

I’ve been watching the blog for a little while now and some times I think some of the stuff you say isn’t exactly what I’d normally watch for entertainment or I don’t always agree with what you have to say (just being honest – sorry) but then some times you say something that interests me such as this. I totally agree with your WANT philosophy (I call it a philosophy because it can be applied to anything in life) as a number of months ago I moved from Canada to the amazing city of New York. I love it here. I worked hard to get here because above all else I WANTed it more than anything.
With that said though, New York is far better than Toronto. Best of “WANT” with that though and I hope it works out for you.
Take care,
Blair

Interesting topic indeed. Also curious what that background noise was that stopped and then started again. I doubt it was a washing machine.
December 27, 2007 at 1:22 am
It works. If you want it enough.
What kind of car do you drive? I’ve got a 1990 Miata, but I know that’s something you wouldn’t fit in.

Chris asked whether it is a contradiction for gays to believe in Christ.
Of course it isn’t. At the root of Christianity is the knowledge that God is love, unconditional love, that he loved mankind and the world so much that he sent his own son, Jesus, to save the world.
Jesus asked us to love our neighbour as ourselves. He did not specify that we were only to love the other gender.
Even the Catholic church does not believe that a homosexual orientation contradicts Christ’s message. Most conservative Christians have problems with the expression of love in sex outside of marriage.
There are however many Christian churches (the MCC, several independent Catholic churches, etc.) who are positively open to gay Christians. The presiding bishop of the Eucharistic Catholic Church is himself a gay priest living in a homosexual partnership.
Peace out.

nice thing to think about for the new year.
You should try coming to the UK sometime. Scotland, England and Wales are all great places to go. there is a lot more to this country than London and the Queen u know!

Dan:
The UK would be a great place; however, I think it’s hard for foreigners to gain access if they plan to work while there as Davey Wavey would be doing. Plus, there is the horrible exchange rate currently for those spending US dollars. On the other hand, it does have the foreskins Dave seems to crave? Do you find that the men in the UK “own their foreskins”? Dave has blogged in the past that some Canadians are embarrased by their foreskin.
December 28, 2007 at 8:57 pm
Colin:
Very true about the 2 to 1 exchange rate for you guys. On the work front however Daveywavey has major plusses he speaks our language and he is skilled. As for the foreskin thing u mentioned over here it’s “the natural thing” it’s the norm in other words to have foreskin so it’s the guys without who might feel embarrassed to be different. But I’m pretty sure neither side feel embarrassed because whatever u have it’s just accepted. I would have thought that with Canada having historic British influence it would been the same over there. However being neighbours to the USA where circumcision is more usual may make some feel embarrassed and different. I can’t really say about that.
Hope it was some help Colin
Anyways the UK is a really great place to visit. Sure England, Wales and Scotland could all fit inside the state of Texas. It feels much bigger when your actually here.

I have been doing that a lot but I think I’ve done it subconciously. Most of the times I stopped wanting and just go for if I really need it. It’s easy to fulfill a “want” desire sometimes but yes you’re right, do I really want the consequences by doing it though.

This quotes are not exact but they might be familiar to you.
W-Wish for
A- Ask for
“…Ask and you shall receive, …”.
N-Never Doubt
“…believe that the mountain throw itself unto the water without a single doubt and it will be done for you…”
T- Take it everywhere
“…seek and you shall find, knock and the door shall be opened…”
These quotes were taken from the Bible but if you take them by itself they are incomplete. There are more truths and I shouldn’t have taken it out of context but I just wanted to show the similarity between Christianity and Wayne Dyer’s search for truth.
If you act as if you have a personal relationship with the universe (for example asking something from the universe) then how much more right is it so say that there is a personal God out there that can orchestrate the universe with you.

Hey I just bought SOUL HAPPY on Ebay buy it now for 10.69 plus 4.95 shipping and handleing US dollars . I am very anxious to recieve this book, and look forward to reading it as well. keep the good books coming.
Have you read any of the IF books by Evelyn McFarlene & James Saywell? these are great books full of questions about your life. some are very deep and should only be answered with best friends that you can trust. you will know when you get to one and it is never wrong to say that you do not feel comfortable answering a question, that is a fair answer. if you don’t have these books, you should get them. the first and in my opinion the best one is IF (questions on the game of life) look it up and buy it now its great.
