How do I reconcile my unquenchable thirst for information (on a myriad of subjects) and the negativity that surrounds many current events and the quest to live a peaceful existence surrounded by the light of love and happiness?
Me too. Its hard constantly watching the horrors of the world and not knowing what one can do about it, or keeping positive. So, I try and get my news first and foremost from hilarious sources, Daily show, colbert report, Real time with Bill Maher. But also realize that while it may seem like the world is falling apart, we have never been in better conditions, living better lives, with greater connection and freedom than we have ever had before. People are suffering of course, but think about how the world used to be. We will overcome.
i like your videos, blogs and ur truthfullness in ur life. Hope we can chat soon and can i get ur ym? i dont know if im bi or straight coz im ashamed from what my environment says about me. Im not affected to that as long as im not hurting anyone. I’m happy in my status single now, coz i’m free from commitments etc…. This site would be helpful to me and to other people who are keeping their self in dark…

Dam Davey great video i totally agree with you 100% about what you are saying in this video. Like you have also said before if we are comfortable when we come out to people and we accept the way they react then why can we not be strong enough to chalange some of our beliefs and accept them or change them depending on how we see fit and Davey keep up the great videos and you send out a very clear and percise message you have to be comfortable in your own skin before you can accept others.

Now for the video, I totally agree! Especially with the news part. I make a point of not watching the news or the newspapers. I rely on the people around me in my life or persistent media to inform me when things big enough to matter happen.
That’s a very cool concept and I agree with you. I have studied religion from many different perspectives and the more i study the more i realized, if a person has good intentions and good beliefs, they will find justification and encouragement in their sacred texts to follow those beliefs, the same way someone with bad intentions and bad beliefs can find religious justification in their sacred texts. So encourage love, peace and joy, and all will be returned. So are the laws of Karma.
