That cabin is so cool I wish I could go out during the weekend to a place like that without anything eletronic, and just embody myself to the naturalness of the woods and all. Howdy Davey!!
Greetings from ND!! I was just wondering about the hot tub, it was heated by a fire that was in some sort of boiler right? Now, did it also have bubbles? or just warm/hot water?
Glad you had a great time!! End of May Im taking a trip to Jackson Hole, WY and renting a cabin not so different from the Brook Cabin…Cant Wait!

my greatest fear is dying in pain. I have chronic daily Migraine. I had a shattered elbow once and after the xray they were quick to give me morphine. the Dr. said “your probably pretty uncomfortable right now” I thought, no this isn’t nearly as painful as a migraine I have been in constant pain for about 25 years. The last 8 years they have been much worse. Th Drs found out my right carotid artery is 100% blocked and several Drs said that could cause the migraines to worsen. This Fri. I am having an Angiography to see if they will do an angioplasty or a bypass. I have Hep C from my wild child days of the early 70s: shared dirty needles. I have diabetis; Atheroschlerosis; hardening of the arteries in my brain; Angina; One stroke; I suffer from depression; I have Multiple sclerosis (benign form, I have symptoms but they go away. The only permanent symptom I have is I am blind in my left eye from inflamation of the optic nerve that never healed) I live in Mexico, I am BI my wife has social security that covers me and all my medical expenses; operations, and medicines are free. There is a treatment for the Hep C but it is dangerous for people who have depression. If I don’t take the treatment my prognosis is 3 – 8 years until I develop chirrosis.
I am 55 years old and I am falling apart like a cheap watch.I think I am going for the treatment for the hep C. I am a new subscriber but you have said some things that have cheered me up. Thanks Davey

Thanks a lot for answering my question. I am very similar in my religious/spiritual beliefs and the coolest part is that it is acceptable in both Buddhism and Hinduism.
Tell us more about your plans for Toronto though. When will you be there? and for how long? We should have a Davey Wavey meet and great back home. Hotbox cafe anyone?

Dave…couldn’t agree with you more with regard to “flip-flopping”. A politician who changes his/her opinion on a subject only demonstrates his/her ability to go into a situation with an open mind and make an informed decision, even if those decisions are occasionally in conflict with his/her initial beliefs. Exactly what I want in my leaders!

Man, I miss that place. My folks sold it when my father retired. It was just becoming to hard to maintain two separate homes.
