Hi Dave and Jessica,
You have no worries of a nude beach in Newfoundland, since it’s too cold most of the time.
Although, maybe there are nude beaches here, I just haven’t heard of any.
Also, the next time someone throws fruit at you, just THANK THEM and smile.
Have a great Tuesday!
Craig.

Sounds like the surprises never end there in Toronto, fruit throwing asians and sexual nude beaches. I’m definitely going to have to plan a visit one of these days.
Glad that you are both enjoying some time together and it sounds like you are having some fun. Very cool!
Ciao – J

Having spent a lot of time at the largest nude beach on the U.S. East Coast this summer, I find being naked incredibly natural. Go for it, Dave! Hey, you’ve got the body for it.
But do try to separate the sensual from the sexual. Overt manifestations of the latter are what get nude beaches closed.
August 5, 2008 at 9:48 pm
I completely agree with Brad. As I remember back to my first visit to a nude beach I was terrified as I walked down the many steps to reach it. Once I arrived I looked down and my clothes were gone! It was the most natural thing. Though it sounds like there was a bit of a difference in my experience and yours. Mine had women, men, young, old, skinny, plump, all races. So anything went! Now that I have been to many nude beaches I could probably feel comfortable anywhere.

The difference between being comfortable with violence and not with nudity is due to conditioning. In North America we are comfortable in seeing violence where as in Europe they are comfortable with nudity and not with violence.
It is all due to conditioning.
It’s like taking cough syrup at first it is nasty but after a few sips you don’t hate it that much and begin to deal with it.
August 5, 2008 at 2:46 pm
Yeah, in Europe we are more comfortable with nudity then you guys in the USA. Is it really true, that you are wearing towels even in sex separated saunas?
In Germany you can see naked people bicycling. It´s not usual but it happens. Most people have no problem with it.
(But, in most cases it´s not an beautiful view

Not only can you see titty in Canada, you can also see dicky in Canuckland as well, especially in Québec! Vivre la différence! Europeans, and therefore québécois, are way more relaxed about nudity than Mericans and their square-headed cousins in Anglo Canada (read Toronto and Calgary, which are mainly extensions of the States, without the arrogance). Puritan prudery abounds. Once you go nude, you won’t think it’s such a big deal.
As for the sexy part, you can’t be nude without your sexy bits showing. Of course it’s a part of the trip…duuuh! And that too, once you get over the fact that everybody has them, in endless variety of shapes and sizes, it ain’t no big deal, eh?
So nice to see a lady on your talky blogs. Now all you need is an older gay dude to round out the show.
Be well,

Hey Dave. Loved the blog. I’m so glad you brought Jessica back…she’s wonderful. I hope to be able to “attend” the boot camp class. I’ll be at a dinner at 6 though, and I hope I can make it back before 7:30.

Davey
I have been to nude beaches around the world – some are very sexualized – some have a ton of gawkers sitting up on cliffs staring at the nudist – but most are secluded, bautiful and filled with fascinating individualists. I have met some incredible minds on nude beaches. Relax, accept your body and go lay out in the sun, swim and feel the breeze uninterrupted on your body – it is a gift from the universe. I would gladly show you the best spots that the US has. I once went a week without clothes — I ended up sort of resenting the need to get dressed when I left!
I would actually love to hear your thoughts after you have had a good non sexualized nude day at the beach – your poetic spirit might be able to describe it better than I just did!
Peace love and lots of skin,
Paul

you’re only really uncomfortable for the five minutes when you realize how much of a no-big-deal it is… and then you think about how much time you wasted deliberating over something that was no big deal… jump in, don’t wade in… you’ll thank yourself for it.
August 5, 2008 at 7:10 pm
I am a naturalist (nudist). Just drop your towel and go for it.
August 5, 2008 at 8:39 pm
if you don’t speak the language, how do you know for sure she is chinese and she is speaking chinese to you? this is very racist.. you are really f****d up
August 5, 2008 at 8:43 pm

Judgmental?
Yes.
Labelist?
Yes.
Correct?
Yes.

The last time that i was in China town we went to Sky Dragon, and first of all ti took us forever once we were int he building to find the place cause all we knew was it was on the top. And we only ordered like 3 things on the menu and they brought us like a million plates…no fruit though. maybe they watch the blogs and was giving you a gift? Asians are a bit weird sometimes.
August 5, 2008 at 9:54 pm
Work out class looked awesome btw. I joined late because my cellphone reminder was on vibrate in the living room. I did however have an intense “tin sounding” sound problems that I hope clear up. Keep it up!

We clearly need to meet…
Clearly…
August 6, 2008 at 12:09 am
Hey Davey,
First thing first: you have nude beaches and you have ‘sex’ nude beaches. And then you have each a personal way of looking at a nude beach.
Let me explain. If you go to a nude beach and you are thinking “sex” then for sure, when you see a guy looking somewhat awsome, you will get a hard-on, hence in your case, i think you would feel uncomfortable being there naked with an erection…
But if you go as a real nudist, you would think.. freedom, open air, purity. then maybe if you would see that same guy there i do not think you would get a hard on so easily. It is all between your ears, buddy !!!
by the way, i have been to a gay resort where clothing is optional, and at some days i was there thinking ‘sex’. so for sure then I was horny and I did have an erection, feeling all uncomfortable. Then I went into the pool to cool down a bit…;-)
PS, last night I did watch a dvd. Defying gravity, it was called. Enjoyed it a lot. It is a must see. It’s a somewhat slow movie, but romantic…
August 6, 2008 at 9:28 am
correct me if i’m wrong but aren’t you allowed to walk around topless in Canada? I thought I saw it on a television show once. Might of been naked news doing topless interviews with people.
August 8, 2008 at 1:28 pm
LMAO-
Jessica: It’s cold here in Toronto
Davey: It’s 78 degrees
Oh I love you guys!!!
