Actually, you got it wrong… all the heavy elements that make us and our planet (Sodium, Carbon, Iron,… anything heavier than Helium) comes from stars when they go Super Nova… Carl Sagan said “We are all made of star stuff” in reference to this.
Well, the first comment is true… but I would have said that you’re more correct than you realise…
Our solar system and everything in it (including us) came from a star that existed millions (probably billions) of years ago. And when this star died it exploded (super nova)and the gas and dust that was left settled, and joined together again to create the Sun and, from what was left over, came the planets, us and other objects in our solar system. When the Sun eventually dies it will do the same. The Great Circle of Life.
What you say is also very true, the energy that the sun produces keeps us alive. It warms us, feeds us and lets us see the wonder of the universe that surrounds us.
I’m worried!
But what can I do?
They say………
Our Sun only has a few Billion years left.
or was it a few hundred Billion years?
But I’m worried……..
Keeps me awake………
there is around 4.5 Billion years, which means by then the human race would not be around given what we are doing to each other and/or the planet, so don’t worry about it at all..
Yay! Happy! I love your blog because it reminds me that being happy to be here and to be alive is a lot of fun! Thanks for being an adorable goofball with a positive message. Positivity is a beautiful thing. <3
A bit like the old saying that money doesn’t buy you happiness…but it sure helps! LOL! Who cares? Cute/not cute, the message is what is important (the cuteness/hotness is simply a bonus!) and Davey delivered that VERY well. I liked it! Go you good thing!
I am a vegetarian and don’t eat animals either. I am surprised at the comments praising your elementary explanation of this subject. I guess there are more simple people out there than I thought.
funny that mike i noticed his love handles too.. even a young twenty something like him and his infamous ‘abs’ workout cant keep them at bay…. obviously with his petite frame it’ll be the first area to show when he over indulges in bannana pudding…. maybe if you f*** him silly it will help burn the calories for him
I want you to be my teacher David, all is suddenly so clear with you! Thanks very much for this brilliant demonstration : we are all made of stars and everything is one.
So, is it just me or are the posts here taking longer and longer these days…I got the video on youtube before it posted here….what’s up with WordPress?
actually if you insist on getting biblical on our asses at least get it right. “God” was the creator of all the planets and the sun and space and everything else in between “Lord Jesus” was merely his slightly gifted son who just so happened to have a knack for turning water into alcohol….
Nice Vid Davey… I kept waiting for Mufasa to turn up… “Thus we are all connected in the great circle of life!”
Aaaah, Sean, Sean…next you’ll be telling us the Earth is flat and that dinosaurs were walking around with humans 6000 years ago. Oh, by the way, did you know you were found in a cabbage patch by your Mom?
I want you to know I’m really glad you are ONE of us, too.
Sean, what’s objectionable about your remark is that you seem not to be able to understand that other people can perceive the universe in other ways. You seem to insist that the Christian god is the only possible explanation for the formation of the universe (“so there”). Do you not have the charity in your soul to allow others, such as Jews, Hindus, Muslims, Unitarians and others have different views on this subject? Consider Buddhists and Taoists who see a universal force (not really an anthropomorphic god) and that we are all a part of this force. Consider that many people see no need to believe in any kind of god or creative force at all. If you are the true Christian you imply that you are, you must treat others as you would want them to treat you. That means allowing others to believe as they choose, not as you choose, because, as Davey says, we are all made of stars and connected to each other.
Hilarious! Soooooo many views and opinions, but you know what opinions are like? They are like buttholes, and why? Because everyone has one! Who cares where and how this all happened? We are all here and it just IS! You could debate about religion and/or Christianity for everrrrrrrr… however, I doubt many would want to, so why not just allow everyone/anyone to have whatever view they want and respect and accept them for that. Doesn’t it even say in the Bible: “Judge not lest ye be judged!” Ahem! I rest my case your honour! Love to ALL of you out there, and thanks Davey for being you and reminding us all how small we really are in the great scheme of things… love ya!
and did you know that the astronauts when their bag of freeze-dried human waste gets too full they eject them into space? Some times they fall down to earth and burn up in our atmosphere. If you’re looking up at that exact moment you might think it’s a comet or falling star when it’s just a bag of s**t.
Davey Wavey…I had to watch the talky blog 20-30 times to get the gist of what you were saying, but I still need a personal tutoring by you here in Jerszzy…Are you available today?..Love “your” David
There is more to reality than meets the eye. The everday world is an illusion. It is real only in the way a dream is real. We hear it and indeed we live it. And in an instant it is gone. Very inventive talkie, wavey……
Davey: I enjoyed today’s blog, wow another talent you shared your drawing with us fun / cool , loved the duck impression too, lol. Have a great day Davey Wavey.
