This weekend was great.
It started out a little rocky with a work party that I hosted Friday night–it was fun, but not really my thing. Once I got back into the groove of things, it was great.
I can’t really remember what I did yesterday, but I bet it wasn’t much. Just lots of time to relax and paint and watch some movies. Today, I did more of the same, and took a nice long nap. I had a long overdue reunion with a good old friend, Abby. It was very nice.
I’ve watched a few 9/11 movies this weekend–a couple of documentaries and the movie, World Trade Center. There are so many theories behind what actually happened. And so many unanswered questions. Some of the theories are pretty intense–some people believe that the government went so far as to pre-wire the twin towers with explosives. Believe it or not, they can find evidence to support their claim. I wouldn’t go that far, but it is fact that the government had several warnings about the attacks. The administration had a good idea that the attacks would happen, and even had a good idea of when and where. I think that the administration allowed them to happen because a.) they know it would strengthen their party and b.) they knew they could makes lots of money from the ordeal. Basically, it would enable the administration play the American people like puppets–upping and lowering the threat level, and providing false justification for the war in Iraq.
I want to move to Canada.

Eww.. i have been anti America for like 4 years because of issues like this.. I thought i was going to move to the UK for college just so i could get outta here. The government has too much power which isn’t great but at the same time i really want to live in California lol so i dunno, hopefully Canada is great to you but of course you kinda make that decision!!
(Maybe they didn’t pre-wire the world trade centers but they definitely did the pentagon because those walls are thick enough to just crumple up a plane with minimal damage to anything inside.. i don’t want a gov. i cant trust..
if you like that kinda thing though, “Death of a President” is an interesting “what if” documentary relating to it..”)
