So far I’ve got 112706. No idea what that means, though.
January 25, 2008 at 5:49 pm
“112706″ that looks like a date??
11.27.06??
January 25, 2008 at 5:57 pm
if you look at the post he made on the 2th of november 2006 there is just a long string of letters. it may be another code?
January 25, 2008 at 5:58 pm

January 25, 2008 at 5:59 pm
I feel like this is Da Vinci Code or something. Fun!

“ne ne t seven er six” i dont get it, are you sure you have it right Davey?
January 25, 2008 at 6:07 pm
This is really weird, did you know that on the date 11.27.06 a comment was posted on your blog, and to be honest it seems a little out of place with your usual comments, it read like this,
The only constant.
November 27th, 2006 • No Comments
HRGCJTDGFKKUSFOMNOTAOLSKCSDCMSWGR
This could be completely wrong and have nothing to do with your Codebreaker, but it’s just odd?
I also know how Dave likes his quotes, so, I looked up “the only constant” the closest I can find is a cool quote by the Greek Philosopher Heraclitus and it reads ” The only constant is change” to be honest I don’t mind if this has absolutely nothing to do with the code, but I’m really glad I found this quote, to remind us that we are constantly growing and changing. Cool
Thanks Dave.

My method…
The first clue is morse code for 11/27/06, which takes us to a blog entry.
The second clue “HRGCJTDGFKKUSFOMNOTAOLSKCSDCMSWGR” can be solved with a keyword cipher (“change”) to reveal: BREAKTHEILLUSIONDOTCOMSLASHANSWER
Figure out this word and post it in the comments. It’s one word. If you are correct, I will post a talky blog.
52807
3:3:13
Go to the blog entry for 5/28/07 and look for the 3rd paragraph, 3rd line, 13th word… “Pollock”
January 25, 2008 at 7:09 pm
check the comments on 112706

Good times. Fun stuff. Final answer-Pollock
January 25, 2008 at 8:31 pm
Wow amazing stuff you guys are smart.
January 25, 2008 at 9:44 pm
Well I’m glad I did the whole thing before I read any comments. I figured out Pollock in 12 minutes. Next time Davey Wavey does an AWESOME cipher game, could you please not share it step by step…the answer will suffice. Then other people get to play
Any way Davey Wavey:
POLLOCK!

DO A TALKY BLOG WITH WILL OKAY
January 25, 2008 at 10:42 pm
This is the best post yet. I’ve never done anything like this before. It was a lot of fun figuring this out. The morse code tripped me up a bit cause I looked it up using google and what I found at first didn’t make much sense. Thanks for the fun man. Peace
January 26, 2008 at 1:15 am
Sorry if I ruined the fun for anyone. About 2 minutes after posting the “my method” comment, it occured to me that I shouldn’t do that. But I don’t see a way to delete my comment… maybe Davey can pull it down so everyone else can figure it out.
January 26, 2008 at 2:04 am
you should do a talky blog about how ciphers work.
January 26, 2008 at 3:30 am

January 26, 2008 at 5:15 am
Argh!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hate codes…I can hardly ever break them…Thanks for the heads up on breaking this one.
Me thinks Davey’s Pollock inspired painting could be finished.
January 26, 2008 at 6:51 am
I’m afraid Davey is revealing his Americano-centricity with the puzzle, as in Ireland dates are written in a different order (with the date first, then month, then year), which would lead the solver in an entirely different direction, surely to a dead-end…. Unless that is what Davey wants?
January 26, 2008 at 7:06 am
third
January 26, 2008 at 8:15 am
YES!!!!!! i just figured it out its Pollock…. but what does it mean?
January 26, 2008 at 8:15 am
POLLOCK
January 26, 2008 at 8:21 am
There is a movie named Pollock which is a film about the life and career of the American painter, Jackson Pollock. Maybe he’s some sort of inspiration?
January 26, 2008 at 9:00 am
pollock is a variant spelling of a type of fish. Maybe Davey wants us to go swimming in the waters of the North Atlantic
January 26, 2008 at 10:12 am
Doesn’t Davey have a Pollock hanging in his condo?
January 26, 2008 at 10:18 am
Davey is painting a Pollock inspired painting…methinks it’s finished!
January 26, 2008 at 1:05 pm

January 27, 2008 at 5:28 pm
