Intentions

For the eight months, I have heard and read a lot about the power of intention. If you release your intentions, the universe, with its infinite organizing power, will manifest those intentions. The process is extremely powerful, but somewhat conditional as

  • 1.) your intentions must be in line with the intentions of the universe (that is, they do not cause pain on someone else and they compliment the path you must take) and
  • 2.) you must be able to tap into the field of pure potential (through meditation and communion with nature).

At any rate, I have seen my own intentions manifested, as I’ve mentioned before. However, as much as I have read about intention, there is unanimous agreement that intentions should be written down. That way, every now and then, you can edit the list and view it before meditation. It’s important not to become attached to your intentions–the universe will do the work for you. You just must trust in the universe, and know that your intentions will be fulfilled when the season is right, and so long as it is something that will truly benefit your life, and hopefully the lives of others.

So, here is my list.

1.) My bamboo plant to grow 8 feet tall

2.) To become a full-time artist by the age of 40

3.) To achieve full family equality in the next 20 years (and to have the legal option of adoption)

4.) To live with Nick

5.) For love instead of hate

6.) To buy berries often

Actually, that’s really it.  I guess I’m not that needy.

  1. I have read many of your blogs and I agree with you in many points, but I do not believe that the power of the univers is conditional. The universe is infinite and has not bounderies. The laws of attraction from the book “the secret” states that whatever you attract you will receive. Therefore, if love is what you attract, then love is what you will receive. Similarly, if hate, pain, war and suffering is what you attract, then hate, pain, war and suffering is what you will receive.

  2. Now, if I’m correct, it’s time to update #4 on your list ; )

unless i am just being retarded.. which is always a possibility with me (my imperfections make me perfect ☺)

  3. Have you ever read “The Little Prince” by Antoine St. Euxpery? In it, the author defines the difference between “Little people” and “big people.” You are definitely a “little person.” If you haven’t read it (yet) then know that that is a good thing.
