just be eternal already.

Our galaxy is on a collision course with another galaxy – in a few billion years, everything is going to be destroyed. But, before that happens, the sun is going to explode and engulf the entire solar system. Of course, it’s likely that most of the world will die from famine, global warming and/or war before then. And if that doesn’t kill us, there is the inescapable fact the temperature of the universe is approaching an asymptote at absolute zero – the temperature at which everything stops. And then there is the fact that the universe, after expanding, will collapse in on itself. There is no escaping the fact that everything we are fighting for – that life itself – is going to be absolutely and positively destroyed. Literally, there is no hope for survival. Of course, we’ll die before any of this happens, anyway.

The human species, and life as we know it is f****d.

The thing is, the universe isn’t about survival. It doesn’t matter that we’ll be destroyed. It doesn’t matter that there will be no one to remember us. Because, at the most basic levels of being – we are the universe. Therefore, we exist outside of time and outside of space. It doesn’t matter that the universe will collapse in on itself. Because that is just a cycle in a linear view of time. “We”, as a collective I – that silent state of being – will still be. Because we just be, eternally.

  1. I watched this documentary on TV about the bees going extinct by the year 2036 which isn’t that far and that all the third world countries and even more people will die and that the only things that will survive are a select amount of animals and wheat and corn.. no color in nature or anything… Kinda random but i just thought i might share some info..
