It’s nice being in Rhode Island. I’m here for another two and a half weeks. I keep saying that I’m “home” in Rhode Island, but it really doesn’t feel like home. Home is with Nick in DC. My mom even redecorated my room. It’s not my room any longer. Being here feels a bit like visiting the grandparents. The house is familiar, the smell is familiar, but it’s not my house.
It’s nice to be here though. While my life has had many changes over the past few years, things here change at a much slower pace.
