the simpliest of life’s rules

I was just checking my gmail and the quote of the day said, “If you do what you’ve always done, you’ll get what you’ve always gotten.” One of the definitions of insanity is doing the same thing but expecting a different outcome.

If you do the same thing, you’ll get the same result. It’s so simple, but sometimes we overlook the simpliest of life’s rules.

Apply that rule to your life. If you’re unhappy with the way things are going, continuing on the same path certainly won’t change things. You’ve got to break the status quo. You’ve got to do things differently.
